  1. So if you said to the owner, this will stop your saw from stalling when you invert it, and sort the uneven running issues, make it start more easily. I would say £40 well spent, better still tune it in and charge £50. H-A
  2. I did think that, thought there may be a 245 that I had missed:biggrin: H-A

    Oil seals Ms200t

That would be your eyes, don't say you have been putting them back the wrong way round, your bench may have a lot more on it shortly. H-A
  4. Seals now replaced, idle perfect in every orientation, shake it, swing it, still same idle. Now very pleased with saw £155 for a 180 psi 200t, must be a good buy. Crankcase seals are in my opinion a service item. H-A

Made a special tool that fits the seals. Works well. If you want to borrow it PM me. H-A
  6. Christmas is fast approaching, bin that one and ask Father Christmas for a Husky. Have you emailed McCulloch yet? H-A

  9. That is very cool, love the "TWIN" cast into the side cover. We need a video of it cutting:001_cool: H-A

  11. Stick them in the dogs bed, they don't mind, they bark at every thing else, so should be safe. H-A

I meant getting the seal started in the recess Can I not edit posts, for spelling mistakes or typos? H-A
  13. Don't forget, Joe public are thick. If that had hit her on the head it could have killed her or at least put her in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. Having had a visit from HSE in the past, it is amazing how a few very simple thing can prevented days in court. A few cones and a bit of tape, if she had crossed that then it would have been a shorter day in court. "Joe public are thick" Joey Essex can't even tell the time on an analogue watch. H-A

I have been there done that, I have replaced successfully with the crankcase separated, but failed on my first try with the crank in place. I think getting the bearing started is the critical part. It is probably easy for the guys who do it all the time, but the seals are very brittle, and the price of a pint every time you break one. I have another 200t in bits waiting for seals, This time I will make a special tool to start the bearings off. I will post a picture when I have made it. H-A
  15. I have one of these that runs on petrol, very good. These are good for a quick brew or fry up. Gas canisters are cheap, very convenient comes in a plastic case. I also have a Kelly kettle, bit slow, bit of a PITA, so stays on shelf in shed. H-A
  16. It has a little bit of orange on it. I would email McColloch, and give them a link to your posts about your faulty bar. It will be interesting to see how they respond. H-A
  17. You can buy one from screwfix. Payleven Chip & PIN Card Reader | Screwfix.com Looks like it would be useful, but you would need to price in the 2.75%. 97.25% of the payment is better than none, and with the price of fuel, if it saves having to drive back to get paid, it could well be worth it. H-A
  18. Is that the soft bar that you had? H-A
  19. That's what I was talking about, glad I am not going mad H-A
  20. There are loads here Results for WALKIE TALKIES I have put my name down for Buzz Lightyear ones:biggrin: Seriously though I use an Icom vhf, very good they sell good gear. Icom UK - two way radio transceivers, receivers and navigation products H-A
  21. All the 2 stroke engines I have looked at have a little end float in the crank. Some have quite an alarming amount when they leave the factory. I agree that radial play should be very minimal as the bearings are a close fit to the crank journals. H-A
  22. I thought Spud was on Holiday:biggrin: Perhaps he has locked himself away with a little Husky in bits. Watch this space, it wont be long before people start playing with them. H-A
  23. I have ruled out carb fuel problems as it is running very well and constantly. The change in revs is very slight, but you can hear it, the saw does not stall any more. I am still thinking very slight crankcase leak, that changes with orientation and crank end float. H-A
  24. New pump cured the acceleration lag. Bit of a fiddly job on these small carbs, I took the welch plugs out as well, they are small and a pig to get back in without the oval special punch. Saw runs better now but still has a slight rev change if you rotate it in different orientations, will replace the main seals, could be caused by crankcase pressure variation, tiny leak from seals? H-A
  25. Stick it in the microwave oven on low and keep an eye on it. I have dried out a few small bits this way. A holly bowl did go a funny shape though. H-A
