  1. Converted to top handle so I can use it one handed
  2. Smashed it
  3. The amount of oil I use is not worth making the savings on as the saws I use are not run often enough and I'd rather not have the inconvenience of having to strip and rebuild when it does fail. 5 litres lasts me a year and I've never had pump problems using cheap mineral oil.
  4. Unless you are just using supermarket oil because you are tight and not being environmental If our chip pan is anything to go by ordinary veg oil of any kind plus a bit of heat will turn it into a rubbery substance which is impenetrable to most forms of solvent known to man and can only be removed by scraping with a sharp metal implement
  5. My mate's like that with ordinary Tuna in cans, I can't stand the smell of tinned Salmon, Does it come with a bucket to hurl in ?
  6. JB Weld is fuel resistant if you can get it into the crack.
  7. The dowels were probably in the replacement casing, was it a new half casing ? Probably needed a whack to free the bearing up if it was a bit out of line.
  8. Sodium hypochlorite is used for patio cleaning not chlorate or chloride. It's used for water treatment in pools as well.
  9. I got a sharp bit of string with a knot for a handle.

    Jokes???

Part of the treatment, ear wax removal
  11. No it's still in there somewhere
  12. The perfect number of axes is same as the perfect number of saws, one more than you have now.
  13. But how will you feel if you don't ?
  14. Get a retractable clothes line from Argos
  15. It shouldn't have affected the pull start whatever happened to the bar as the clutch is not engaged at pulling speed.
  16. I think if it needs a gob cut it's time to get a chainsaw out. I don't possess a Silky but I use a small bow saw and anything over 3" it's chainsaw time.
  17. The idea is to take the screw tops off and replace them with the self sealing pouring nozzles permanently.
  18. Spring, it's like a coiled bit of metal Watch chainsaw guy he'll explain.
  19. Waze is a good app to have on the phone with user traffic alerts.
  20. You might not be able to hit them with Spam if they have a good filter in place
  21. Google "Stuckie the mummified dog" you'll get lots of hits.
  22. Try cleaning it and you will see the join. Brake cleaner and a brush will soon reveal what you are looking for.
  23. That's a rear handle not a top handle Try resetting the carb to manufacturer standard, screw the H & L screws in then something like one and a quarter turns out on each. It could be running weak on the L circuit.
  24. Once you've used it to shoot people it's no longer a legal weapon and is classed as a firearms offence. Unless they are inside your house this is going to get you into trouble.
  25. A couple of years ago we were out at the seaside and a woman with a kid in a pushchair (covered in ice cream) were being pestered by wasps. She stopped and got out some baby wipes to clean the kid up and had to do a runner into a nearby shop as the scent of the wipes attracted a whole swarm of wasps, the air was thick with them. How neither of them got stung I will never know.
