  1. Here's your more personalised one John.
  2. They all wear the quilted shirts like the ones on the market so you don't have to buy a shirt and a coat as well
  3. Not sure on the height but he is already on record.
  4. It reminds me of Al Borland from Tool Time with Tim Taylor. I used to watch Home Improvements every week (didn't mind seeing Debbie Dunning either)
  5. Put them in a cloth bag, it will still get them clean.
  6. £189.99 on ebay on an 18" bar as someone mentioned above. When they're gone they're gone.
  7. One of Shakespeare's lesser known works
  8. Ye canna change the laws of physics
  9. I've seen them with crisp and chocolate wrappers and all sorts of junk built in. Magpies usually build in tight thorny trees like overgrown Hawthorn or Blackthorn and they put a thatch roof over the top.
  10. You could have flushed before you took the picture I'd be worried about smashing the pot if the seat dropped with that thickness of timber.
  11. I thought similar, like it's been sharpened with a too big file. Does it cut nice chips or need forcing ?
  12. Solo 646 is 45cc isn't it ? It's £189.99 on ebay with 18" bar worth trying and see how you get on with it. If you just want the longer bar to save your back or occasional thicker wood it should be fine as long as the chain is kept sharp.
  13. Just keep using the recommended oil grade and whatever make takes your fancy. You don't need to spend a fortune just because the motor has a few miles on the clock. I remembered an article from a few years back where an old Mondeo was taken over 1,000,000 miles by a taxi driver doing airport runs.

    Makita DC9010

The buy it now has gone as it has bids but he might end it for the price and it does look like it's hardly been used. Bargain for someone who needs a muscle saw.

    Ivy

Ivy puts out adventitious roots, tendrils are only points of attachment. We had some in a wall between out house and next door and cut it off at ground level but had to scrape it off the wall to get rid of it completely.
  16. It was probably in the ground for a 100,000 years before it was refined into two stroke oil, I'd use it
  17. Carbonmods sell kevlar fabric by the metre.

    Bio chain oil

Another question, does anybody cook with chain oil and does it stick to your pans ? It's a healthy discussion and some people have used veg oil and had no problem and others have gummed up bars and pumps and will stop using it. There's not always a clear cut end to everything. What brand of oil are the successful users using would be helpful to know for those who might want to save by buying Spry crisp and dry or whatever.
  19. I do the thunderball since the lottery went up to £2 and I occasionally have a go on euro when it gets stupidly high. The other week I won £5.10 on the euro and £5 on the thunderball, it didn't change my lifestyle one bit. I once got 4 numbers on the lottery and it only made £12 that week.
  20. If you stake them low down with a diagonal stake they will still be allowed some movement and will build up strength naturally.
  21. Looking forward to this, I like cutting edge stuff.
  22. It's on the Mail site as well so it must be real. The groundie has a part in Peter Pan panto at Christmas (when his broken arm heals) Who do we know in France ?
  23. A bit of precision drilling with a 3mm drill and some chemical metal. I did a similar job on my electric plane when I dropped it and it has lasted well. It was a bit fiddly but worth doing. Glued in place with the chemical metal and drilled through the holes and a couple of self tappers through into the parent metal. You could reinforce it with the added plate as well.
  24. It sounds like Ritalin for dogs. I have heard of people chopping Kalms tablets and giving them to their dogs to help get them through bonfire night.
  25. A couple of wedges and something to knock them in with. Sharpening kit will work with any make of chain as long as the file is the correct size.
