  1. He's in Wales, more chance of causing a flood there I think
  2. They probably already had a family, comments like this and calling people Darwin award candidates are a waste of time and insult your and everyone else's intelligence. Have you never lost a friend or family in an accident. A bit of compassion doesn't cost anything. If you can't think of anything else to say just don't bother.
  3. It looks like it with the bark on. It's not a favourite for stick making and usually I season sticks for about a year before I do anything with them not leave them overnight I use a hot air gun and bend them over my knee to get them straighter and use something with nice bark on so I don't strip them. Hazel, Holly and Rose Briars are my favourite.
  4. Has it got a DPF ? (diesel particulate filter) Might be the exhaust blocked if it needs cycling to clear it out.
  5. I'm not a professional, Birch shows different colours on new growth. I don't know what wood yours is but it could be it's affected by the UV where it was exposed.
  6. Title reminded me of a local car wash run by some east European gentlemen. Their sign says "shinny car wash"
  7. Well the BBC forecast a nice day here and it's hammered it down for most of it so far.

    Which Echo?

Sorry, I replied to the wrong thread, I was reading the CS390 or 450 one and got sidetracked.

    Which Echo?

If I was looking for a new saw I would probably pick the Echo CS-361 WES because I just like the look of them.
  10. Buy them all a saw each and tell them to look after it.
  11. Turn the H screw in a bit to weaken the fuel ratio. Don't overdo it or you could run it too weak and lean seize it.
  12. Clean the air filter
  13. I bet whichever he bought it's probably worn out now it was 8 years ago
  14. I agree. Wasn't last winter predicted to be the worst for umpteen years and it never happened. We only had 2 days when it snowed here.
  15. A friend of mine had a few pairs that they wouldn't take back so he cut them up and made a giant wind chime.
  16. If you wear a ground helmet in the tree would you still be allowed to use a top handle saw ?

    Jukebox

CD I picked up in a charity shop [ame] [/ame]
  18. There's a homemade one on Youtube, might need a different clamp arrangement for round wood but the idea is sound. [ame] [/ame]
  19. I've no chance then, I have an orange one, a white and orange, a red one and a yellow one (and they're all made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same)
  20. "Last link in the food chain" on the side of a Dynorod type van round Derby. The cowboys versus indians was on Singh's builders van.
  21. That sums it up, the weather here is dismal.
  22. Leave the root ball for a few weeks then pressure wash the soil out of it and sell it as a garden sculpture. Or burn it.
  23. A friend of mine bought a David Brown and contacted the owners club with the numbers on the chassis and engine along with some pictures and was helpfully supplied with the original registration by its first owner. Good result saved him some time and bother.

    Tiny echo!

It's optional though, they are not going to come round and snatch it off you if you want to keep it
  25. There's a beauty on the High Street just round the corner from here. I wouldn't fancy climbing one though the branches are really dense.
