  3. So Im looking for a new Helmet. And i want the STIHL VENT PLUS ARBORIST HELMET, but it says its not suitable for ground work... I spend more time on the ground cutting than up in the tree. Does anybody use Arborist helmet both on ground and up in the tree..? I dont want to have to buy two helmets, when i feel the one can do both jobs..?
  4. Thanks for the helpfull reply guy. Im only going to use it for rare big tress that need cutting, i mostly run the 20" bar. I contacted stihl and they emailed me back today, also highlighting not to run the 25" bar all the time. The bar he recommends is #3003 000 9431 which i can see in my stihl book is Rollomatic ES Chain #3621 000 0084 Rapid super (RS) Ill ring Sean or Brendan in Donegans tomorrow. NO1 Stihl dealer in Ireland
  5. my question is i wish to purchase a stihl 25" bar and chain to run on my ms 390. i cut hard and sort wood a few times a year. I mainly run a 20" bar. I occasionally need a bigger bar and also want to have a 25" bar. I want to know what bar is best suited for my type of cutting ie rollmatic E, Duromatic E etc. Iv also read that anything up to 24" in bar length you run standard chain. 28" and above its full skip. What chain is best suited for 25" bar..?
