  1. I did the same with a 560xp. Ran it ragged for a few hours after, never had any trouble.
  2. I wouldn't say it needs big toys. 2 good climbers 2-3 groundies with a decent chipper ideally tracked if would staying on site would smash that in three days.
  3. My first job out of college was running the sawmill and mog he has on his website, he bought it from my old boss!
  4. As a postscript, 562 dawgs will not fit a 560. But most already know that.
  5. My 2014 560xp has been wearing a 562xp full wrap for the last 8 years or so😁bit like marmite full wraps, they make felling in tight spots and work in a tree easier, but are a bit bulky for snedding and low stump cuts are pretty much impossible.
  6. I thought this thread was about cheap mass produced ww2 submachine guns. Disappointed.
  7. Old school topper with a big heavy disc, and an override/slip clutch. Old Fergies not usually got much puff left to run a heavy flail, they need a fair bit of hp.
  8. Whereabouts is near horrid London? I am in Surrey/Sussex borders and might be able to help/recommend someone. I don't need the full address btw.
  9. Nobody cares. Pretty amateur mewp work, not particularly fast and definitely not efficient. Yeehaa.
  10. Last time I went to Universal trailers in Bilingshurst they had one, might be worth a shout. They are IW dealer.
  11. Location, access and potential obstacles to overcome will affect this. I know a company that would chip the timber for free in West Sussex if they can get their tractors to it, but you would need to pay for the felling.
  12. Eurogreen is a good shout, or Stubbs Woodyard at Arundel.
  13. I've used that saw, it's @lux 's it's a great saw.
  14. @luxhas it or something like it on his house.
  15. All that bling on there and the spark arrestor is still in situ...
  16. I don't do long days. He rarely has to drag or chip. Usually wrapping it up by 2.
  17. But to be fair, I wouldn't get out of bed for 70 quid a day.
  18. You shouldn't be climbing at all with no tickets in an ideal world.
