  1. If making your own band wheels bearings etc ebay or a bandsaw supplier ,Woodland Mills UK ,Woodmizer etc but the price you can get a used sawmill for I would not bother trying to make one .

Si I haven't been in the woods felling trees hardly at all since my broken ankle and today was talking down 2 Ash trees about 14/16inch diameter both leaning didn't think just cracked on next thing barbours chair is a letter box cut the best way to deal with a leaning tree to avoid this next time Thanks Mark

So I have now started to get a nice stash of boards for sale and now I am stuck on how do I work out my prices is there like a price guide like book price for motors ,I have some 2 inch thick 20 inch wide burr mullberry and I cant find any that big for sale anywhere same with the Holly .   12. Um somewhere up the Valleys out of the way but it would have to be the right place workshop /sheds and be able to live on site even if its a double decker bus would not be the first time, used to have a bright pink decker with a cafe/bar downstairs
  13. Ha yeah import costs ,have you seen the Jumberjack mortice and tenon cutting bits very cool but cant get them over hear apart from on amazon in the US 140 dollas a set on amazon f###ing £720 what is going on thats just mad

  15. The last of the Mullberry 2 and a quarter inch boards hope you like them I think they are stunning just hope they don't split will get the banding kit out

Hi I have the Woodland Mills HM130 MAX and after a few teething problems and I expect everyone gets them I totally like it 30inch wide cut it does take some getting used to coming from an Alaskan like you its day and night so much quicker less faffing around the only thing if woodland mills did upgrades like Norwood do so you could get the basic mill then make some cash buy the trailer, that they do but then hydraulic log lifter, turner, toe boards etc as I am totally happy with my new mill but would like to add to it and I don't have time or welding skills to build it myself, but that's the only down thing I can say
  20. Hi Spuddog ,Santapod aint been there in yrs and yrs used to love the run what you brung weekends some real interesting contraptions used to turn up ,sorry for the derail.

Hi mate no not sold any yet I have a big shed on the Est I look after so tempted to air dry then kiln dry the unusual timbers ,worth more cash that way but we do have a big Wood Fair in Agust so I will take a load there and if anyone wants some,just working on a flyer and website we have a nice professional photocopier so flyers will be cheap.
