  10. Its the principal not the amount did we all agree to this No we didnt ,we dont get anything for our 40 quid its taking the Piss you can look up all sorts of my personal data at companies house no not happy we need a revolution a new way of doing things the one we have at the just aint that good
  11. Hi mate thats totally cool you should be chuffed amazing build ,what thickness ply did you use I have some void less ply for sale 4 and 6mm was used for jigsaw making PM me if interested , looking forward to seeing it with a seat if you have one what will you finish it with a lot of boat builders use West Systems Resin
  12. No on the website it says if you are using cctv to deter crime you must pay even if you have dash cam in work truck ,but there is a simple questionaire one thing I think it said was do you use peoples data but that could be anything a delivery address or where to take that tree down it all could be called data ,its a bloody Piss Take if you ask me
  13. If I take my time boards coming off the mill are quite good and by flipping the board every pass or 2 you can get a good result but looking for a surface planer /thicknesser we bought a 12inch fox machine dont bother it was a toy went strighgt back so for 24 inch wide boards the thicknesser is fine .
  14. So have any of you heard of the ICO data protection commissioners ,we got a letter from them stating if we porcess personal data and or use cctv at our yard for crime prevention we must pay a fee even if you have a dash cam in your work vehicle they want you to pay a Data Protection Fee ,seems like something Al Capone would have come up with but hey our governments are the biggest bunch of gangsters ,I was so F###ed Off ,taking the Piss I thought ,just wondering if anyone else had come across this . Cheers Mark
  15. Hi Roys oh totally the old boy I got it off was super chuffed when I rang him and told him it was all good again ,now I need some boards to put through it .
  16. Hi pricing is what I am struggling with at the moment is there like a timber price guide and what calculations are there to turn a cubic mtr into a linner mtr. Thanks. Mark
  17. I was put on to a mobile engineer it was expensive but he got it done ,turns out the old boy who had it had a big flood and even though it worked after it all dried out the big achme screws that opperate the table are housed in a cavity with a plate on top and the threads were all gummed up with like a concrete stuff and it still had some flood water in it so loads of scraping carefully cleaning spray ,and it has a sort of clutch on the power rise and fall the plates were polished shinny so not working now thats all done as well ,I could have done it myself if I had known all about it but now having been there sort of helping I know a lot more about the machine so all good and if anyone needs a mobile engineer just ask me for his phone number . Cheers Mark
  18. Sounds like an iffy batch of 37,s to me apart from having to re tension from the factory settings on band tension I have not had this happen on either of my hm130,s if you go back to your supplier he may send you some replacement ones ,Hope you get it sorted Cheers. Mark
  19. Finally got my big thicknesser totally working the power rise and fall everything sorted been a lo g time coming and expensive but sorted ,totally chuffed so if anyone needs any boards doing come see us Cheers Mark
  20. Yeah good timber if you can dry it without splitting
  21. Those tops look ace and what a place to get away cool as
  22. Hi Les sort of got the big thicknesser sorted still need to get the rise and fall sorted properly and the poolewood people are having that toy one back so now back to looking for a bargin of a planner thicknesser
  23. Hi I have had one of those grinders for yrs and yrs my mate gave it to me and even though I dont use it that often if I hit a nail or the ground cutting fire wood its ace for bringing all the cutters back the same as they all need to be the same length but I do find the granberg 12v sharpener the best as it will do both cutters and rakers and you can run it from your truck battery ,do do like the Lidl one though. Cheers Mark
  24. So got my big thicknesser working the rise and fall still aint sorted but I can do up to almost 3 inch thick ,the Poolewood people were sound and are taking that crappy little one back so still looking for a bargin of a planner thicknesser if anyone spots one Cheers Mark
  25. If it was a bit better made and those legs were on some sort of ratchet system it would be an ok bit of kit but as is would more than likely break ,Panther Mill for a chainsaw mill thats what I would get if I needed to replace my Alaskan .
