  1. Without the pipe cleaner in the pot, it's a great saw. With the pipe cleaner in the pot, not that great.
  2. Most outlets take cards. But there are often problems. So take a wad of cash too. If the machines are working, great but if they're not, you'll still be able to get the shiny things.
  3. This odd glowing sphere of light could be seen today. But the comforting clouds are now all around.
  4. Could buy it and send it to Spud. But it could well turn out to be a money pit.
  5. Well they are at a sky high price.
  6. Ditto.
  7. Still raining.
  8. That's a whopper!
  9. Well it rained yesterday and it's raining now. Not heavy, just big drops but you still get wet. On the plus side, it's mild.
  10. I hear using holly as the top-block, is a good thing. Nice and dense, so lasts a long time and doesn't heat up as much as some other woods.

Both of those made me laugh.
  12. Nicely done.

    Turf

Slight high jack and sorry for this. Supposed to be helping with a lawn in Poole. Any recommended suppliers around the Dorset, Hampshire areas?
  14. An Oregon flat file does it and not had any problems yet.
  15. As said above.
  16. Tightly tape it off with electric tape, just short of damaged section. Neatly cut through with sharp knife. Then melt end, making sure to seal the end and not leave any sharp melted protrusions. Don't touch the melted end with fingers while still hot. It hurts like hell.

I notice the bonnet is up. Was probably OK before a butterfly landed and that was the last straw. Damn those butterflies.
  18. I fondly remember chicken & salad huffers. If you want to know what a hugger is, go to Braintree. But you better go early, as they sell out by around 11:00. Pictures don't do them justice: http://www.eat-anglia.co.uk/blog/?p=782 A true huffer, is about 5-6 times that size.

    Tiny echo!

Good things come to those who wait. Unfortunately, everything waits until after a BH.
  20. MS261 to Husky 550.
  21. Nice vid there.
  22. Now if you'd left the ivy on the bottom, you could have used it to climb the beanstalk. Ah, but them you have to flee the giant.

    STIHL battery saw

And yours would be a tad under 7.9 tanks per 5L.
  24. Try digging one entirely by pick, spade & a constant passing audience. "You've missed a bit." springs to mind.
  25. So one leg is always cold and the other always warm? I presume it's the same for the unmentionables.
