    Getting work

Charge £150 for you plus what ever you want for your mate plus any costs on top including insurance, fuel, consumables and a bit extra for any repairs or new tools you'll require. Build a website at wix.com. Its very user friendly and I enjoyed doing it. You can then edit it as much as you want, add photos etc.
  4. I learnt these before i did mine, It helped a lot to know them before hand as it was one less thing to worry about.
  5. That looks great. Impressed your doing it yourself. I wouldn't know where to start. What software do you use?
  6. I think I just used emulsion on top of liner render and hav not had any issues with smell.
  7. Lovely place wallington. I'm going back up that way this summer with the family. I get more impressed with that area the more I go.
  8. If you have a job you feel is a bit beyond you're experience pay for a subcontractor and learn by watching them.
  9. No requirement by law to have them but there are lots of places expecting you to have done them now. If they are worth doing depends on you're circumstances. If you use saws all the time then i personally don't think its worth it, if you use one irregularly then yes it is worth it.
  10. They say something like this every year! I'll believe it when i see it. But good luck eggs!
  11. They look great. I'm in that area, not seen them though.
  12. I've started it but haven't had time to pick it up for a few months. I'll have to find the time. Really interesting though. Doing it with hcc
  13. I've done the same route as you in 2001. Brilliant times bringing back loads of memories! I had a 4.2 litre ford falcon, it was like driving a whale! I'd love to go back one day.
  14. I like the colours, really stands out. Good website.
  15. That looks ace. Worth saving from the log pile!
  16. I've just bought one but upped my budget from 6K to 8K because i couldn't find much decent in that price bracket. I had a look at that garage, they had a few navara's on offer as well as other makes but none that i fancied. I ended up with this mazda bt50, 09 plate and 72000 miles.

    New Motor

The new motor Looking forward to getting some use out of her:thumbup:
  18. I've gone with Aviva after having a few days with ADmiral only to be told that they can't cover me for tree surgery and will charge me for cancelling! Glad i didn't have an accident with them, i dread to think how badly they would have handled it
  19. I've been looking through the sales catalogue and thinking the same thing. All similar age and out of my budget. Back to the drawing board!
  20. I'll have a look in old magazines for one. Thanks
  21. I've got a budget of £5000. I'm planning to go to an auction to get an ex lease one.

    Ticks

I've worked on our estate in West Yorkshire for 7 years and never once got one. But on Friday after walking through bracken my dog picked one up. They're on the move! Bit of a game changer. I've a couple of mates in other parts of the country who've had lymes disease and it really set them back for a over a year.
  23. I'll write one and post it shortly. Feel free to add to it when done.
