  1. Forbidden You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server. Apache/2.4.18 (Unix) Server at 176.32.230.53 Port 80 when i try to click on the gallery on the home page.
  2. We so need a like button! - some awesome angles of shots there Reg !
  3. I hope this guy is joking TBH!
  4. Here is my quote / proposal Mrs Jones, I will give you a call in a couple of days to confirm. If you then follow up when you said you would they actually trust you a lot more as you are seen as a proper business not just someone doing it for beer.
  5. LOL I thought it was all finished too
  6. Looks fascinating. When we were in Holland last year we went to a wind powered sawmill. Really interesting, was painfully slow most of the time, but they had several blades cutting one trunk which looked a bit different.
  7. Looks deceptively small until you see someone underneath it. Nice work!
  8. You either do a lot of caravan park work or that one hates pines
  9. Your best bet is to purchase your desired domain name from somewhere like heartinternet.uk and then also buy hosting from their and build a site on wordpress. endless possibilities with the design then, you can use free templates to get a real quality site for not a huge amount each year.
  10. What is the goal of your site? what do you want people to do when they visit it? There are no clear calls to action like - phone us, email us, request a quote form etc you need to include some of these on your site for it to really make money.
  11. Nice site but you seem to have several images of climbers without protective trousers - bit of the wrong image with what you say about safety! The contact form is great.
  12. Anything over 96 is 6 points as my mum found out - got pulled doing 100. I cant remember the fine, it went to court etc.
  13. Dont ask for advice then as you obviously dont take any of it on board.
  14. No offence but you seriously need to either study modern web design or get a pro onto this. We are in 2016 not 1990! To second what others have said - ensure it is responsive, I have first hand heard a rep from google say that mobile is the next big thing and we need to ensure our websites are optimized for this. Also you are very unlikely to have people actually find your site on google as the technical side is lacking somewhat - even the domain name doesn't tell people anything. All your text is as images - google cant read this! I dont know what you built this on but build it on wordpress it is so easy and customisable. PM me if you need any help!
  15. I thought you had to do your 30/31 before any climbing certs?
  16. Have had the same thing loads recently - local codes so answer them
  17. It sounds stupid but think about videos of experienced guys you may have seen and picture yourself there. Watch as many of Reg Coates / RC0 on here and just take it slow.
  18. +1 for the otter box cases, when combined with a glass screen protector they are bullet proof. Mine has a layer of rubber and then the solid plastic outer, great for most falls and knocks. Otter box have some interesting reviews on their site - if they are true they are pretty incredible!
  19. Kyanize definition, to treat (wood) against decay with a solution of mercuric chloride.
  20. Best tree surgery website I have seen for ages, the number of calls to action on the home page must push your conversion rate up massively
  21. Totally agree, most of it is black hat SEO which is banned by google, and if your website is blacklisted by them it is v difficult to regain credibility. Every ''SEO'' company who have phoned me and promised to get our website on the first page of google swear that they dont use adwords, and when questioned it turns out that they do, so dont be taken by the ''first page of google for a month for £100'' as all they do is a cruddy one line ad placed at the bottom of the page.
  22. You need as much good content as possible. If you aren't good at writing get someone else to. When adding pictures ensure that the Alt tags have the right info in so that google can tell what they are.
  23. SEO is definitely not dead! The meaning is Search Engine Optimization, therefore writing great content for Google is SEO I Definitely still recommend ensuring that all the meta tags / descriptions are all correct and read well, I was told about 2 weeks ago on a Google webinar to still ensure these are correct as Google does read this as well as everything on your pages.
