  1. Thanks guys, looks like the one!
  2. Anyone know what this lil guy is? For scale it's on a ranger side step.
  3. There's a catch plate if that's what you mean.
  4. Door Retainers, Trailer Door Retainers, Same Day Dispatch – Nationwide Trailer Parts Ltd WWW.NATIONWIDE-TRAILER-PARTS.CO.UK Quality trailer door retainers available from Nationwide Trailer Parts, with next day delivery. like this ?
  5. Friend had her house broken into today - stole a load of stuff from the fridge and cupboards - brazen as they were near the garage at the time!
  6. Where I work most of the time, has pulled forward the launch of some home school packs given the current state of affairs! Might be of use to some on here with kids at home. Kids love the rapid recall boards and they have a simple online answers portal so you dont have to work out the answers yourself. 7. Done 2 so far.
  8. Someone shared this which may be of some help?
  9. Dont just pour on top of an 'already stable base'. This makes it nearly as expensive as tarmac / brick weave when i got a quote for our drive.
  10. Isn't an MS881 coming?
  11. I have one - only issue is it has a bar oil leak. runs perfectly though, great old saw. I think mine is the xpg / heated handles version. Open to offers!
  12. All I'll say is if I could only have 1 saw I'd have a 560.you won't regret it.
  13. 460 is a nice saw but IMO too much saw to use all day on firewood. bite bullet and get a husky 560, favourite saw i have and so light. IMO far superior to a MS261
  14. We do a lot of tenders where I work for significant amounts of business. You have to carefully look at the weighting and how much it is weighted towards price / non price bits. We lost a big one recently as a competitor had just gone way lower price and even if they had scored 0 on the non price bit they would still have won. We have built up a good amount of 'stock' tender responses full of the waffle they like. A lot of the time it is just interpreting local authority speak and then pulling out things you are already doing and just demonstrating it. If you havent got experience with tenders I'd say well worth getting an expert to advise.

  16. Oil level is fine, now doesn't lift at all. Just whirrs round. Thinking blocked somewhere?
  17. Guys Any ideas of a cheaper alternative to a genuine ifor williams pump on a tipping trailer...it lifts up so far and just spins as if now doing anything. Are they repairable? Is there a similar pump from something else that will do the job? Thanks in advance ?
  18. Saw a similar size vehicle with a mega long 5th wheel trailer the other day with steel beams on, on the A14 - was from a reputable looking company so assume its legal!
  19. @Squaredy have also come accross these guys cups - worth a look? Borg & Overström sustainable cups and bottles - Borg & Overström WWW.BORGANDOVERSTROM.COM Reduce plastic and promote reusable drinking vessels with our range of sustainable cups and bottles. Visit the Borg & Overström blog
  20. Mine is going from 235 miles to go up to 1800 to go at the moment. I think in 1 Year with 21k miles I've used about 6 x 20 litre drums which seems pretty excessive. Our disco 4 uses nowhere near that amount.
  21. I havent found out much about these but had a rep in this morning and they are going to be supplying most of the uk with these as from 2020 - https://www.rijo42.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/rijo42_rco_cup_press_release.pdf They use a water based rather than plastic based sealer inside. Alf's Drive

Happy to accept any non rotten logs. Call me first on 07788 309920 and I will give you the address. Plenty of space to tip most vehicles, easy access from main A146. If you give me a day warning then you'll get a pack of beers in return.
  23. Have a look at Basecamp too we use it at my work (not tree related) and works well for most the things you mention
  24. Thanks Dave he may well be in touch, I hope we can remove the 2 smaller ones and retain the larger. Unfortunately he really does need a drive near the house so any suggestions of a solution to that too would be great. Something that drains naturally and doesn't compact... Is there such a thing?! Thinking grid / mesh type thing.
