  1. The manual says as soon as the blades come out and another set fitted new bolts must be fitted. Then on the invoice for the bolts it says fit dry. I change my blades every 50hours and every time change the bolts. For I think they are 7-8 quid a set why wouldn’t you just change them?
  2. I’ve had 2 Jensen blades crack so not just a forst problem and only use genuine blades. This blade on this machine if everything else is fine probably been sharpened incorrect and cause stress cracks.
  3. I have a feeling that on the gearbox there on the side you see them 2 orange nuts the top one checks the level of fluid. Best thing to do is ring a Jensen dealer and see if they will give you a manual will tell you in there.
  4. It does state in the manual to change the bolts, nuts and washers on every blade change. Probably down to the fact they are torqued to 300nm. But for 7quid a set it’s worth it in my opinion.
  5. Iveco has a reliable engine and drive train. But the electrics are a nightmare always having little problems with my 15 plate one in the end sold it and got a transit again.
  6. I’ve got the same engine but in a forst and it just started to do something similar but when I rev it up will splutter like a chockage but everything has been changed even the spark plugs twice. Can’t understand it
  7. Can’t comment on the 500i but the 462 is really good on fuel as well
  8. Hi, Looking for a climber/groundsman to come join my company. Basic tickets would be a must and will be on a full time basis. Rates negational depending on experience. We are based near newquay, cornwall. Message for more details. Thanks Tom
  9. That’s an m tronic saw. Can see the port on it to plug into computer. That’s what it will need doing to see what error code it is throwing
  10. Well I applied with Lloyd’s last night and was paid today. Only applied to clear other debt due to low rates
  11. Also have a look at the cub cadet zx3 series.
  12. Would you recommend a sc252? I’ve got a predator 360 at the moment and looking at getting a bit bigger machine.
  13. I’ve got hankook mud tyres on my hilux. They seem pretty good and also barely any rumbling. They are on a cherry picker hilux so still get slightly stuck but is a fairly heavy truck
  14. I use arborisk for mine
  15. I’ve got a cpl lift on a hilux and never have an issue with the boom on roadside work. As said just raise the bottom boom up and you can almost touch the floor with the top boom fully down and full telescopic out.
  16. I got told from my local stihl dealer that the 360, 410 and 460 all run the same running gear and frames just the bore size is different for each machine
  17. I have 2 echos and they both do exactly the same but they run a filter almost like a fuel filter and it has a fine mesh so blocks easily. All my husky’s and stihls never have a issue but echo do.
  18. I run bio chain oil and also get the same problem with my 2511 but it will block about once a week. I use Clark forest bio oil
  19. I love how green mech and Timberwolf dealers all rip into forst and yet forst will never say anything bad about there competitors. Goes to show the other brands have felt the hit since they came along.
  20. Couldn’t tell you anything about the Timberwolf but I’ve got the forst overall really good machine built well doesn’t feel plasticky or tinny like some machines do. Throws chip really far. Will do about 8 hours to a tank and around 6 if you max it out with timber going through. I’ve got 217 hours on mine and not one single problem [emoji1303]
  21. Any chipper will chip a straight log fine let’s see it do some real work with branches. From what I’ve seen of it the new green mech struggles to snap unions still. At least it’s got good chip throw now
  22. They should of made it have bigger fueling holes as they seem stupidly small. Only thing that put me of them is that having to change fuel cans
  23. Try Lommond house finance. They are superb to deal with and I have 3 things of finance with them and nothing but praise [emoji1303]
  24. Hi, Just started to use otiss for tree surveying and after following all there guides I can’t get it to load up the google maps like they show on the website videos. I can get the pdf OS maps to come up but I can never get the google ones to upload in mobile device. I select use online maps but it can never find it in the mobile device and if I use the pdf os map it won’t layer them like they show on the video. Starting to feel I made a bad choice but can not work it out or I’m just being stupid.
  25. With out a doubt 462. Same weight as the 362 but an animal on the 20 inch bar you won’t disappointed plus I run my 462 on a full skip chain 28 inch bar and pulls it no trouble
