  1. Cheers rich. I remember you showing me that in Oslo but I couldn't remember exactly. 👍
  2. Great video bud. I'd like to see a pic of where you drilled also. I've been thinking of doing mine.
  3. Nice bud. Srtwp though.....dark arts.
  4. Great. At least it wasn't an obvious one, makes us feel much better!!!! Thank you arbtalk.
  5. The leaf blades were short, I'm going nearer 5. Also the foliage at the top of the tree, was quite different to the foliage at the bottom. To be honest I'd have said it looked quite cypressy!!! A blueish tinge to the foliage as well
  6. I thought crypto. Very pungent smelling foliage
  7. Thoughts on this? Boss reckons its a juniper but it's not prickly enough. Seen loads of them but shamefully, don't know what they're called😳
  8. Yeah I don't think there's nearly enough fabric in that to cover that hunk of love
  9. I've had a hh lifa on today, they are good but for me the rab cocona are great. Part merino, part coconut or something. Have an ice breaker as well but the rab one is just as good and cheaper.

Maybe try chapel tree services. Guys name is Matt long, I sub to him quite regularly, he's pretty busy though.
  11. Anyone need a pair of extra hands in the coming weeks then give me a Shout. Working in Norway at the moment but back on Sunday. Cheers.
  12. Make no mistake it can and will get stuck in tight forks. I've had mine stuck twice today, one in a birch and one in a lime....but it's worth the occasional red letter day, great bit of kit, had mine for years and use it on pretty much every tree I go up. Good idea to keep an access line in larger trees....just in case!!
  13. Totally agree about the ropeguide. I've climbed on a Spiderjack for a good 18 months and the ropeguide is vital for smoothness.
  14. Been subbing to a company doing the tree work at Blenheim for this years show, luckily been given contractors wristbands. Probably going up on the sat, really looking forward to it. Sent from my XT890 using Arbtalk mobile app

  21. Haven't you finished that monstrosity yet?!! Sent from my XT890 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Also, when deadwooding, try and throw the bits as far apart from each other as humanly possible, or even better, in next doors garden. Sent from my XT890 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Been a manic few months, but got a free week next week at the moment so thought I'd give my thread a bump. Anyone need some help please give me a shout. Cheers.
  24. That's good money. I guess if you're charging that though, not only do you have to be the dogs danglies, but you're only going to be doing big stuff as it would price you out of doing any smaller stuff. Doing the big stuff all the time, while fun, is going to take its toll on your body. Fair play to the guy though.
