  1. Out of interest, how does the stihl super compare to the regular and ultra? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. It's very good as coppice or a pollard for firewooding and habitat Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Definitely crack willow, especially if you snap one of the live twigs and it's quite stringy. Just as a note, crack willow will regrow from the tiniest piece of wood, so if you chip it, don't get it on wet ground Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Idle may be to rich or just low, you tried turning the idle up a bit? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Use aspen, keeps the engines clean, muffler doesn't get coked up, preserves all the other bits longer too Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Would have suggested hornbeam but didn't want 7D to get his undies in a knot Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Needs pictures Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. 1st definitely looks like a mortar, 2nd looks like a maxim, god knows how the machine gun didn't get moved over the years, but then again, communists are strange people Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Yes, western power distribution have categorically stated that if we do not perform work to BS3998:2010 we will be sent back to redo the work unpaid or have the contract terminated, unless the tree owner has told us to do that, upon which we must get a signed statement off them Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. This thread will definitely help you choose a pro saw, but, go to your local dealer and test a few before you commit to buying one, after all, it's no good going by what we say only to decide the saw is too heavy for you! And the husky semi-pro range is also worth checking out, they're just tuned-down models Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. If you try it you will buy it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. UA contractors get sent back if this is the result, unpaid! Or at least the NO round here does. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. To copy the Americans on a find like this, you suck! All I've got is an old blower, that's a nigh on mint 024AVEQ, so will be dated around '85 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. My ex got side shunted by a tractor who pulled out of a field, had to be cut out of the car Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. You'll be better using a diamond dremel bit Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. 16 for a tractor mate Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. You should try what replaced it! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. But he isn't a dealer, and from what I heard they are US saws, so not CE rated either, so they're no good if you get a problem Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. We don't get dolmars in uk, so no dealers, no uk parts back up, no warranty - nothing Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Husky have a dealer finder on their site Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. I think it's more of a 50/50 split with the 540 vs 200t, some people find it better, some don't, I think it's down to the operator at the end of the day, some people bed engines in better than others Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. You could try f r jones on here, their prices are damn good and pretty hard to beat, otherwise any good local husky dealer should match the price Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I have a 357, good saws, as you said, almost bomb proof, picked it up for a drink at the local dealer (seized), the alternative now is the 560xp, it's lighter, faster and more powerful. If you want a 357, eBay is generally the only place now Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. The normal husky coil for the 3 series saws will fit the saw, but you may find you need to replace a few bits if the saw has been sat for 3 years Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. 9mm slugs are nigh on impossible to obtain anyway, only ones I've seen are from Germany Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
