  9. Try a stihl 051 for a mill saw, plenty of torque, much cheaper to buy Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. No, most run it with what ever is fitted, and I was actually told that putting a larger rim on would decrease the torque considerably Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Yes, but if you want to get that picky, you could fit 8t .404 on the 066 and watch it rip the wood apart in a few seconds Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. That's one more than a stihl? But that is what the book says Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Interesting, I reckon on 3/8 or .325 8t the 560xp would have given the 460 a run for its money, likewise, dropping the 13" bar on the 560 would have also been interesting. Though the times are a little long for 8" poplar IMO, I reckon sub 15 seconds could have been quite easily achieved if you'd really pushed Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Well? What's the result? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. So really it's between the 550xp, 5105 and the echo 550, don't need a 261 as that would be last anyway... It'll be interesting with the outcome, might be worth slapping the 15" bar off the 560 on the 550xp Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. You loading them in the cut or just letting the weight do the work? Secondly, are they all on the same size sprocket? More teeth is a faster chain! And you want to categorise the saws, as an ms660 will beat everything in a big log, but thin stuff will let the smaller saws do their stuff, with the 242 blitzing really thin stuff Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Stihl offer similar I think, as the motomix is not available in the uk Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. You also forgot to mention that husky offer an extended warranty for machinery run solely on aspen, which also covers air leaks and other engine faults Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. There's a video by gardenkit on YouTube how to do it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Means he's used a welder to build up the top of his piston to increase compression Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. The 560 is the equivalent to that, 550 is the 261 equivalent Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Neither the 240 or 361 are available, the 261 and 362 are crap IMO Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Walbro WT44 is the 009 carb Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. You're not the only one, I've still got 3 200t's, an 066 and an 090 And Barrie's place is disturbingly anal with organisation Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. There is no cs33 any more Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
