  1. conversely, paying £300 for a lightweight excellent fit trouser...you are paying for the high spec materials and fit...not durability! What life span would you expect from a pair of £150 trousers?
  2. i think xbox1 is the latest (even tho its the 3rd generation... go figure!)
  3. whatever it is...its a happy log, look at that smile!
  4. i need to rent a chipper so made a call today to get a quote... £150 first day, £110 each day after that. (TW150). maybe that helps you figure out if its worth it. Anyone know anywhere cheaper?? southwest/midlands.

  6. new series starts wednesday at 9pm showing some big redwood chainsaw carving. might be worth a watch! cant remember exactly what its called, Redwood something lol
  7. bloody hell, the weather girl thread again. oh go on then, dont mind if i do!
  8. i heard thats how the bbc take their measurements!
  9. well its not really a hurricane any more, but met office have issued a yellow warning for uk.
  10. i have a pair. work ok. they are fab in the winter as you have nice toastie boots in the morning. better than leaving sat on a radiator stinking the house out and leaving muddy marks on the wall.
  11. should add to the above of course, other major manfs follow the correct procedures too before someone starts lol 😝
  12. only stihl and husky follow the guidance on terms of sale agreed with the hse in the uk as they have the most to lose and under the brightest spotlight to check compliance. the dealer is wrong in selling the other brands to all and sundry just because its not one stihl/husky, the agreement applies to all brands. simples. the hse guidance also states that the price of the product should be significantly higher than that of a domestic, back handle saw to discourage purchase by general public thinking "oooh thats a handy little chainsaw" 😃😃 Therefore the price of a TH saw should never really be below the £400 point but many of the chinese saws are sub £200 flouting the hse agreement. obviously none of the above applies to 2nd hand sales but many sellers on ebay for example of TH saws, will make a token comment suggesting suitable for pro use only etc...
  13. just thinking can we bid on it then refuse to pay cuz its fake 😃 that will aggravate the seller having to relist it lol
  14. i should add i dont need one lol
  15. i want one for christmas!! bloody awesome 😃
  16. if someone is stupid enough to pay £300 on that crap, they almost desrve to get ripped off. A fool and his money etc I have reported the item just the same as well and surprise surprise, ebay have done nowt lol
  17. I disagree the race should have been stopped. They were on inters not wets. I do think however the safety car should have deployed before the loader was brought on circuit. Hope he pulls through and back to full health.
  18. i buggered off to bed before the 'guests' came on! already had enough of the big idiot lol
  19. not made me laugh since the 70s on tizwaz!
  20. is it just me that thinks lenny henry is completely un-funny? verging on irritating!!
  21. every saw is run at the factory but is hooked up at the carb, not by fuelling the tank. its husky policy that every saw is pdi'd by the dealer before hand over. would be a concern if there wasnt fuel and oil residue.
  22. preferably a bloody big hammer! great result. decent people 2, scumbags 0
