    Saws from USA

Hi, if its for at home, umight save a few quid but getting parts may be an issue and forget any warranty. If its work, do not bother as the saws are not EU compliant and ur insurance would be void if there was evr a problem. Not worth the grief!
  2. Great camera work! Impressive power for sure
  3. Have u had chance to use it yet? Whats the verdict???

    3120 coil

Hiya, i want to mod my 3120, what changes did u make to the carb? Cheers
  5. Whats the typical cost for one to be ported? Cheers
  6. I should have added it is possible to reset the autotune, but not re-map it. That may help...all u need is a 9v battery....jst not sure about the process tho.
  7. Hi, you cannot alter the settings at all. Are u sure its too high? Have u chkd the rpm with a tacho? If it is too high chk the gap between the coil and lywheel magnets. Shd be .3mm Change if neccesry. This may have an affect but most likely it is a faulty coil. Make sure u are using a resistor plug.
  8. Which filter is fitted? Black or yellow housing? Black is more open than the yellow (twice the size almost)
  9. Unless chainbrake complete was replaced at some point in its life...its 1995.
  10. Hi year of production is not so easy on this saw as it was around for so long but the first 3 digits are what u need.... 5 = year of production, ie 85 or 95. The next 2 are week of production. If the saw has an orange cylinder cover and plastic front hand guard/brake it is 1995. Add a pic if still not sure...can soon tell from that.
  11. Hi all Im wanting to change the carb on 3120 from the standard semi fixed jet to adjustable jet for a project im working on to allow more revs. Anyone got any ideas what will fit and where i can get 6 of em! Cheers.
  12. Husky XP is from stat oil, but is to their own recipe or 'package' to be more precise.
  13. There is a factory fix for this issue now. Contact ur dealer and they can send u a kit, or take it back for them to sort for you. The problem was back pressure through the breather causing it to flood and a change to the air gap. There was also some problems with the starter...this is sorted too...replace with updated starter assy.
  14. Have u seen the husqvarna cordless rear and tophandle? 20 m/s cutting speed shown at apf this year
  15. Hi, the 240 is an airhead engine and needs to have closed transfer ports. ctp cylinders are expensive to produce compared to open transfer. so using a plastic insert is an inexpensive way of producing a ctp cylinder from what is effectively an open transfer type.
