  1. Thats a belter ! unless you have remarkably wee hands! Off to check for you.
  2. It is a tree and its only going to get bigger. Personally i wouldn't want that next to my house. The fact it is on the neighbours side means you have no control on the size and the amount of damage it can cause by either increasing in volume or if the tree is removed the resulting underground issues. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with leylandii if in the right place or kept to an appropriate size.
  3. £115 at summerfield books just got the april newsletter today. Surely a £10 reduction in price can justify that.
  4. I take it the saw ran out of fuel so they brought out a beaver.
  5. Boxers here. Don't have a clue how much they cost as I get them as prezzies at christmas. Think you get them in tescos at a reasonable price. Polka dot ones for carving, brown ones for climbing and stripey ones while cutting the lawns. Always good to have a system.
  6. Well thats both my prizes from this years raffle arrived safely. The Stein Bleed Control Kit donated by Stein is already in my kit bag but i hope i don't need to be using it that often!! A great addition to my personal first aid kit. Thanks. Today I received the Kelly Kettle Scout from Skyland Equipment, got a big grin now and will need to take a day off this year to go camping to test it out. Thanks Mark. Thanks as always to everyone else involved in donations and sponsoring and to the Guvnor Steve for his tireless work in making this all happen.
  7. £9.35 better off a month, think i'll just stick to the one pint of beer a week
  8. Wheelbarrow on the lawn tut tut.
  9. Thanks Steve, alot of hard work and time once again.
  10. Second that. Great company to deal with.

    Mowing

Started back in Jan, last cut of 2016 was week between christmas and new year IIRC. If the ground is firm enough and grass isnt too wet im cutting it. Owner likes it looking as good as it can all year round. Managed to get most of the turf repair jobs done as well. I'm about 3 weeks ahead this year on all my tasks which is a first! Greening up nicely as well. Went over my own wee patches of grass a fortnight ago.
  12. To clarify you are asking for the weight of a 1m diameter x 20m long log in fir flavour? How much are you taking off the top otherwise?
