  3. Anytime I watch cop shows from anywhere in the world the police are getting grief from the individuals they are persuing/stopping/questioning. If they would just shut up and do what the officers tell them rather than kick off alot of this wouldn't happen. In the video of the woman in america she was very calm while her man was dying next to her, but life is a bit cheaper overthere i suppose.

    Weeding

Hand fork, red bull, headphones, plenty of bulk bags and knee pads.
  5. Mines been doing the same for a few weeks now. Thought it was the angle i was holding it putting chain oil onto the exhaust when carving. Plug fine with mine. Have drilled the 8mm hole in the exhaust. Be good to get to the bottom of this.
  6. I've got the extra coarse orange donut one. Handy to have, Easy to clean the bit with wire brush, takes a wee bit of getting used to and keep away from the balls as it would be even more painful than veet. Toolpost were good to deal with as well, got some pink grinding stones from them too.
  7. Cherry laurel or Thuja species would be a good start. Personally photinia might look a bit sparse as it takes a bit longer to thicken than the Cherry laurel in my neck of the woods.
  8. HIGNFY Publication by the looks of it.
  9. Not the only one to be told that red would do for my km130. Quickly switched to Stihl Super and not had any problems since(touch wood). Once I had finished with the red in my other machines I now use the super for all 2 stroke kit ( including my huskies) as I couldn't be bothered keeping all the different flavours of fuel.
  10. Switched over from petrol to paraffin as an accelerant. Far more control, less required and performs better in the wet.
  11. Rose tinted glasses and a dry towel
  12. Making a bookcase/tv unit at the moment, the wood is leyland cypress about 1 1/2 inch thick been drying for about 3 months. Anything for this that will not transfer to books as above?
  13. Heartbreaking for the old chap. He needs to get his footwear sorted out as well.
  14. Safety specs arrived today:thumbup1:. many thanks Steve and Rich Rule.
  15. Good job! It's always worth a try even for your own amusement.

  17. Money is a bit tied up at the moment so I've only been able to get 10 this year Steve. New Childrens trust site is even easier to use than last year. If you are paying using Paypal I have found it is quicker and easier if you are logged in on another tab. Well done to all those involved and their continuing support.

    Storage

If I understand correctly Bird you are enquiring about what way you store them rather than security measures, basically due to the odd shape of the chainsaw. I keep my small ones together with the bars going through the each others handle, this is placed in a cabinet which is bunded so any leaks are contained, similar to a pesticide cabinet. So they don't take up too much space that way and are ready when required. My big saw has the smallest bar on to fit at the back of the cabinet so it is still ready for work in an emergency but I have the other size bars with the chains on them in their scabbards at hand depending on the job. These along with the other sharp dangerous things are not stored with rakes and shovels etc. but in a more secure facility nuff said on that!!! Hope that is helpful.
  19. Think you might have gone too far with the one in the foreground.
