  2. Not been climbing (should of been) today but felled a few small trees this morning then split logs this afternoon
  3. Been high wind's today so much so watched an oak come down across the field

  16. I recall being told at college 3-5 years depending on usage and obviously if it gets a bad knock. I think it states replacement in the vertex info that you get with, I always put the date of when I first use mine inside the helmet

    Silky bit me!

    This is my silky scar Did it 12 years ago caught my self a couple of times since but just mere scratches
  18. Nice vid enjoyed watching it, more I watch vids like this the more convinced I am to go for rope wrench. It's only taken me 12 years to get with the times

  20. Good on you for tackling it I know what it's like working for someone new I tend to lengthen my strop and sit back as much as possible and use a bigger bar if needs must to compensate for the extra distance, works for me but might not for others
  21. Can't be any worse than driving with a big chipper on the front? But have to agree go for a decent tractor
  22. Hope your eye sorts itself out. I've noticed more need for safety glasses recently since I got a vertex vent ( old style ) with husky visor. Seem to get more bits hitting my face compared to my old husky lid
