  1. Are we still doing this, anything need sorting?
  2. Could well be. I'm crap when it comes to checking them. Only saw it when I sent a pm myself
  3. Got one on Friday
  4. As Steve said delete and reinstall. I had to do the same this week. It was the same with the knot app. No real hardship doesn't take long even on 3G
  5. Finished off the ash from the other day. They decided to stick some scaffolding up for us which was nice of them All in all a good job, nowt broken and the h&s people all very pleased as they were in the offices just behind
  6. It's all personal choice really, try on what you can and go from there. As for spikes I'm not sure, I use Buckingham personally
  7. Made a start on this Ash today. Targets being nitric acid pipes, gas, electric cables, and a number of other pipes that I really didn't want to know what was in them. Didn't get a pic at the end of today, but back tomorrow. Slow and steady was the plan of attack.
  8. Nice place is Gisburn Forest. Not far from me either, and not from the meet in May. Some of my friends build the trails up there, and keep asking me to come along with the saw
  9. Just put it on +1, cheers for the heads up
  10. Sounds promising. I'll be after a new saw at some point later in the year so keep us updated
  11. Sounds fun. I'm sure you'd rather be out and about

    best harness?

Beat you to that one Adam

    best harness?

The cheaper ones will be the light version I would imagine. No prob about the spelling mistake. Try one of the site sponsors for a good price

    best harness?

Could well be the tree motion, but harnesses are an individual thing so you need to try a few
  15. Used my line for the first time since the start of December. Couldn't get my branch after 4 shots so decided to put my harness then go again. Whilst putting it on my boss decided to have a go saying he'd not used a throw line in 2 years. The Bugger only got it first go!! Not happy to say the least
  16. Sip's are definitely the way forward. Had a few pairs over the last 16 years, and not faulted a pair of them compared to other makes. They just seem to work for me
  17. If I remember rightly the gap needed was 7ft for the one we used
  18. Tracked cranes are great tools. Used one last year to remove a beech from a house. Work out a lot cheaper to knock a gap in the wall and drive it round the back, than get something to lift over the house
  19. What happened to letting the chain speed slow down in the wood to finish your cut? By time the revs have died down to idle the last of the cut has been done, then you can put the on. Hope that makes sense
  20. Can you tell me where? Might need a pre climb so I can look a bit better than I am.
  21. I'm up for it. It's just up the road from me. Are you thinking hurst green by any chance?
  22. It was indeed
  23. Last time mine blocked up, I flushed the tank and stuff but didn't sort it. Took it to my dealer and he sorted it for less than a tenner whilst I waited, far easier than doing it myself
  24. I've got a ms260 on the shelf not doing anything. Not looking for much, needs rebuilding though
  25. Happy new year fella, nice to see some barmaid picks again. Hope you've had a goodan. All the best for 2015
