  1. You could try and find a cheap ifor williams back box. A mate of mine picked one up for £80 for a hilux. Sure it would be similar for a ranger and you could cut the roof off if needed
  2. At the minute it seams like I'm doing at least one daily
  3. Had two pairs now. First I had 3 and abit years, my present ones I've had 10/11 months and looking to replace them soon!

  11. On holiday up near hadrians wall at the moment, so decided to meet up with Rachelroots and MattyF ( think that's his username). Anyway once we drove round searching for signal to ring for directions we found them. Once we had a brew and a chat Matty produced a load of climbing kit and off we went. Don't know who enjoyed it more us or the kids. Anyway thanks again to Matty and Rachel for their hospitality. Really proud of my little one Rowan, first time in a harness even climbed srt before I did! Then the rope swings
  12. It can be done, can't think where to get the files. Only problem I can see is that you could begger a blade beyond belief if you don't get it bang on
  13. Just about to take 2 weeks off. All unpaid of course being SE. Off to Northumbria and hopefully meet up with silky and rachelroots. Can't wait as its a great part of the country
  14. The sheet bend should only be used for ropes of a different diameter. The thinner rope grips the thicker one. You could use a stopper knot if you find it slipping. I might well be trying to tell you how to suck eggs. If so I apologise
  15. Great to meet you Rachel. Rowan was properly taken with you. We're up your way in the next week or so. We will have to meet up for a pint
  16. Cheers Paul. Rowans got the bug now! She's gone to bed with a book about knots and an length of friction cord. Busy tieing away rather than sleeping!
  17. Cracking weekend had by all. Rowan really likes you Paul, and everyone else. We're all looking forward to the next one. Thanks once again to kev for organising it
