  1. I don't follow politics closely but he seems like a refreshing change. Sounds like he has actual conviction in his politics which can't say I have seen since Maggie. Interesting times ahead
  2. This lump got stuck and he couldn't move it. To be fair it was a cracking looking machine and he was probably unlucky but that Binderberger really does look the dogs danglies
  3. What he said The ability to roll and maneuver the logs to accurately split on the line you want looks great. Watched a demo of another solid looking billet splitter at the show and chap ended up standing on the machine trying to wrestle the log into position. Got a pic somewhere will dig it out.
  4. Well he lied I do short runs but it's usually loaded up hills so gets warm. Never had the DPF light come on so it must be managing its cycle. Not bothering fighting with main dealer just paying the local garage to fit Isuzu filter and oil. Turns out he has a Dmax as well and guess what he has the same problem. Suppose it's not a biggy in the grand scheme of things changing the oil more often but still a poor design flaw.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them
  6. Agreed but would you not like a slightly tougher version? I don't think this one is yet a replacement for the Farmi but with some R&D it might be. Thought it a lot of machine for the money and if I was after a static machine this would be on the short list.
  7. Jon you clearly drove a Friday night job. First time I took mine on a dual carriageway found myself doing near 90 without realising it. Pretty sure it would go faster than I would ever want to go in an off road vehicle
  8. I am a numpty with these things and at the moment we are using Excel to do invoices. Each time I do a new invoice I have to change the invoice number but it would be nice if it was like a book where each one was automatically numbered. I have been known to balls up and have multiple customers on the same invoice number Also it would be nice to be able to search a customer name and instantly access previous orders from them. This is for a Mac desktop. No need for phone compatibility.
  9. Think the Express has form the subject of cold winters
  10. Shame it was not better set up as mobile unit. No log lifter and this machine was high plus the sawdust chute went out straight on the wheel. Other oddities was it appeared you had to undo 8 bolts every time you want to change the blade which could be pretty tiresome. Basically a static unit plonked on a trailer.
  11. They start at £7600 for the 12.5 ton semi automatic and go up to £11500 for the fully automatic 25 ton. Mobile version ads 2k and diesel engine ads 2k Considering the build quality ie it was built like a tank I thought it was well priced.
  12. Think this is it in action
  13. Thought this road tow processor looked a pretty serious piece of kit
  14. No idea Jon. Too many shows or poor advertising would be my guess but just a guess
  15. Seems his infamy is spreading
  16. Yep 2 years ago. Sure that was much busier then. Today could get straight to speak to assistance on stands but last time had to hang around and wait my turn. Looked at that small processor you posted up a few weeks back. Looked pretty lightweight construction.
  17. Like a ghost town all day today still had a great time Thought the show pretty good so surprised by the poor turnout.
  18. Good work Andrew Wish I could weld
  19. We will see how it goes. Had a similar break a year ago and that repair is still holding. The grain does not quite run in line with the shaft at that area hence the breaking. I have now also wrapped the lower shaft with glass fibre which should help with strength and the impacts from over striking which probably caused the problems in the first place. Needs a clean up but basically done
  20. Very good one Eco
  21. Working on site and man mountain of an assistante broke the handle on my favorite log pick. Lets hope a bit of resin does the trick. The tape is just to hold it together while the glue dries.
  22. Don't think I fall into any of those categories yet thanks Mark Sure you don't either
  23. Just noticed my oil level rising so guess they have not got this problem resolved
  24. Spend my time between delivering logs and processing for others. Need a top for processing and greedy board for log loads so made up simple winch system for the canopy.
  25. Try Craig at Oak valley tree services.
