  1. Dhooooh! I thought I was going to see something like this:
  2. Nice piece of kit there Chris! Like the tree house too!!
  3. No doubt, such a handsome bird! He wandered off so probably best outcome for the both of us!
  4. So, he's Just sat there staring in the office window, no more than 5m away, trying to distract me.... How long can I stay in the books....?
  5. Here Mr Eggs! This ones for you! Minute 1:30 Julian.....
  6. Willian Shatner was probably the worse ever..... Brian Blessed probably the best ever..... Trump? At the mercy of Hislop and Merton? I just don't think he'd "get it," they'd shred him and he wouldn't even know... I like the idea though!
  7. We don't get so many diverse ethic groups down 'ere..... Not since the locals found out they taste like chicken!
  8. And then post it online with name, address and bank details? 😳
  9. What's the difference between thieves & insurance brokers.... One lot does 9-5, the other lot do 21:00-05:00! Worth a thought:
  10. 👍🏻 It's going to be an interesting period
  11. My work partner was on his 661 Jon, he really rates it. Plenty of grunt but not so lumpy as the 880.
  12. 👍🏻 You can delegate the task, but not the responsibility.
  13. 👍🏻 I'll have to fall back on the 576 til it's fixed Jon. That's had a hard working life and never missed a beat!
  14. Oh bugger! Just when I thought I understood it enough to get by safely! 😳 Maybe I naively thought the BBC would have a reasonably well informed and unbiased research team. I'm sure Wavian, as a retailer of fuel storage solutions, would, wouldn't they? I just don't know who to believe anymore so I'm sticking to empty pop bottles! At least it's compliant with the reduce, reuse, recycle mantra 😳
  15. Do you know of defects like this with new saws? Apparently, Sthil tech desk say it's not a "known" weakness? I think I'd be more inclined to believe the user experiences of AT!
  16. It's only done 5l of fuel from new Jon! It's warranty work but I'm without it until the weekend and I need it tomorrow! Bloke in the shop asked if I'd dropped it! I don't have a lot of "cool" anyway but that lit the touch paper. I told him I was more likely to drop the baby than drop a new saw! He's sent me a text since saying he'd been on to Stihl tech desk to see if it's a known defect. Surprise, they said no, but mate I was working with today suggested it was common fault.
  17. Tried posting this earlier on iPhone but seems not to have launched? Anyone else experienced this with 880? Mate reckons it's common, shop where purchased said they've never seen it before (that was just after saying "we don't keep them in stock and very rarely sell them." Like I didn't know that, perhaps that would explain how the "we've never seen that before" comment is nonsensical because you don't sell any! Only a couple of hours use from new.
  18. He hasn't been to the Dan Brown seminar Felix!
  19. No it doesn't. It makes the point that the person that incurred the damages charge was careless / incompetent. Open question: Does insuring yourself against liability lead to recklessness or does the absence of insurance increase carefulness and diligence? If you have insurance and are reckless they won't pay anyway.
  20. The picture was "grabbed" from "that's farming" page on Facebook Jon. It gives the impression that it's Cumbria.
  21. Rare! A German with a sense of humour! Chuckleworthy!
