    I bought one last year for home use, as myself and two Sons all have log burners. So far the machine has worked very well splitting some big beech, ash and others wood. The pump stopped working after the first hours work but Oxdale came down the next morning and fitted a new one. Very pleased with the machine so far and is very cheap to run. I really wanted a tractor and splitter but could not justify the cost for the amount of wood we use.

    I built a wooden saw horse in the kitchen many years ago and then had to take it apart because it would not go out the door.

    I use Aspen on my machines and find the machines run much better on it. Would not go back to pump fuel now

    I have a log rite one from Orion heating. Very light to use, love it. Looked at the Sthil ones but thought they were a bit heavy

    Need to try and keep fit, my Doctor says that if you start sitting down you go downhill fast. Stiffen up a bit if I sit around for too long

    I did well, one of my Sons has paid for a holiday to Iceland and all the trimmings, my Wife bought me a new husky 560xp and also a Granberg precision chain sharpener. Been out for two meals with different friends so was pleased with the outcome

    Just got back from the second day of celebrating my 70th Birthday so now need to get back into work. Have two nice large fallen trees to cut up now:thumbup1:
