  12. The problem is that I want to use the shelter for eating under when holding B-B-Qs etc. log storage would only be minimal and for a short space of time. Does anyone have any other ideas. I thought wood chip would stop the mud coming up when it is wet outside
  13. Pallets would be good but then I would have to cover the pallets with sheets of ply. Thought wood hip would be a cheap option

  15. Yes just want to make the floor dry
  16. looking for a load of decent wood chip. Needs to be woody with very little greenery . I live in the Tring Hertfordshire area
  17. You have bucket loads of cash Jon so it wont matter how much it costs. Post and rail as suggested is the safest option
  18. i have built a shelter in my wood for general use and was thinking of putting wood chip on the floor what do you think. I will use the store for log storage and also putting some tables under the shelter when we have b-b-q etc. the next question is there anyone who has a load of decent quality wood chip they need to dump near Tring Hertfordshire. I need wood chip and not too much greenery.
  19. Hope it all works out ok
  20. I use fine wood ash, as above comments. Cleans the glass very quick and is free. The guy who installed my wood burner told me that
  21. win loads of dosh Jon
  22. Jons posts are amazing, really look forward to reading them
  23. Or a big woodland but loads of nettles everywhere
  24. If roundup is not the ideal for nettles what would you recommend? The nettles were out of control last year. I tried cutting them down but they just grew up again.
