    You have all the fun living where you do Jon. Nice part of the country though. Never been to Bath in my life but am told it is a lovely town

    I am just trying to get a dropped kerb from the highway to an existing gate to the woodland and the Council are not playing ball. The gateway stands back 8.3 metres from the highway and the Council won't even let me cross to the gateway with a vehicle.

    Looks like some extra questions have been added to the pa6 assessment regarding water courses etc. I thought water was an add on qualification to pa6???? Got my assessment tomorrow not very confident

    I have similar on an ash tree, but just black tar coming out about 1metre from the ground

    Just hope it is not as bad as I think it is going to be, I am getting myself in a real state at the moment.

    Can you use the work book to get the answers asked on the pa6 assessment. I know the answers but keep mixing them up with the questions. I have the criteria print out but no matter how much I practice I get the answers to the questions mixed up

    Cleaning the sprayer out is the bit I am not sure about. Where do I tip the washings from the sprayer if there is any over . Do I triple wash the sprayer and then tip it down the drain or spray it on the field

    I agree, I did the course about 4weeks ago passed the pa1 which was easy. I don't have a knapsack sprayer at the moment so have been unable to practice, so just hope I remember the procedure

    Thank you for the information, that will be a help. I am 71 and the old grey matter finds it hard to take it all in these days. I only want to spray small areas in my woodland.

    I am due to take my pa6 knapsack assessment very shortly. I have been told you can take the course book into the assessment with you to refer to. Is this correct please
