  1. Yeah it's under the oil store, trying to remove the smell of lenor.....:lol: Making it smell a bit more manly. I can't so anything about the heated handle I'm affraid, pansy....
  2. I was going to go today and have a nose at what's there. Just didn't have the drive this morn. Still recovering from Xmas. The tools arnt going to run away so no rush.
  3. So are you going to add names and makes to machine like the chippers? Or is everyone just going to be green  Don't forget manufacturers pay top wack to have there gear working well and not breaking down in the games....
  4. Your dad's side might know my mums side then? Was he in Malaysia by any chance? I have his medal somewhere. Name was soltysiac, or somehow spelt. Pronounced "salt eze e ak"
  5. Blowing gusts. Sea is rough as. Rain is heavy at times. Got a gut feeling about tonight. Think I'm going to get disturbed with a very loud bleeping noise. Just a gut feeling and I'm not the only one.
  6. My grandad on my mothers side was a desert rat. My dad's dad was frontline infantry, not sure what or where as I never got to find out, he passed before I was old enough and I don't have contact with my dad to ask. Just what I remember.
  7. Well the other half is always calling me a bear...... So I guess I have been hiding away. I don't do Xmas, too much noise and hassle IMO. Not what it used to be as it's just more about what people get than spending time with family now. Kids don't want to sit down and just spend time with each other now. Oh well, glad it's over and looking forward to some big changes in 2014.
  8. Anyone get any new tools for there bench this year? I didn't as if I need it I just go get it. But there is plenty on the wish list.
  9. Call of duty ghosts..... I did get my boy a load of lego and spent an hour with him building. He has gone to his nan and grandads for dinner this year. So the other half has hidden the lego so I don't get tempted to start building.

Quick message form the rnli lads. Please don't drink and drown. It's one thing I could personally not have to deal with this year please. But on that note please enjoy and have fun.

Well it happened again. Another Xmas eve callout. A life raft in the water reported by a ferry and the ferry stood by it until we arrived. It was empty, so not sure if that was a good thing or not, either there was someone in it at some point or it was empty to start with. Sadly no markings on it so unknown what vessel it was from. Now in the coastguards hands. I'm hoping that's it for Xmas. Have a safe Xmas everyone.
  12. Hahaha. Would laugh so much if she said thank you and first thing after Boxing Day applied for her license............ Big backfire... Lol.
  13. Have you got your email asking what pocket boy you want yet? Got mine on Monday, but no orange one in there. So I'm getting the black medium tooth so it can go on my lifeboat kit.
  14. Could also do this one. Me and my boy will be watching this until he gets close then I have to get him in bed so Santa visits... Official NORAD Santa Tracker
  15. Ok. Guess it's my turn on this one. A small list of items. A pot and carb for a husky saw. Have no idea what one tho. It is rather large. Tolison carb. A small mount field mower, not self drive and no idea if it even works. A collection of small trimmers, 3 in total again some bits missing from them. A ts400 cut off saw, no pot or piston but most of it is still there, also an av buffer missing as I robbed it. I think that's about it. If anyone wants the names of the stuff then tough you will have to wait until I go up the workshop again. Might go up tomoz but depends on what else I have to do. (Like present shopping) Affraid same as Barrie as posting stuff will just be a pain, unless it's the carb and pot. Other bits are just too big.
  16. Tomorrow is going to be brutal. I know that much. The wind is looking to be a killer. And sea state is not looking healthy, even I would think twice before going out.
  17. 80 is very low. It shouldn't actually run at that. Are you sure you done it right??? If it did run I would think not for long at that. Scoring on piston is bad, time for new piston, before it damages the pot. Ally transfer is easy to remove, but a big score isn't....
  18. Concentrate on what your doing not where your doing it.... I have used this many times when in a machine on a hill, or dropping down the side of a rubble pile.
  19. Can't wait for mine. Can you just send me Paul's and say his got lost in the post???? Just change the name on it.....
  20. Why do I do it...... Ford transit. Rear axle change, sort of. Owner brought a new axle that has a higher ratio diff so he is not screaming the engine on the motorway, so had a good look and it all looked like a nice straight swap... Yeah right. Old axle has the speed sensors on it. New one doesn't, so have to strip the half shafts, as the speed sensor part isn't on them. Managed to remove on half shaft finally after a lot of swearing at it. But ran out of time to carry on, well I was hungry and wanted to go home. So Sunday will be a day of work for me as this van is needed for log deliveries next week. So stripping the other axle and checking if I have to change the half shafts or the entire diff assembly.....
  21. Looks like I have won a silky Pocketboy. :001_smile::001_smile: Oh yeah, and I guess you won one aswell.........
  22. What's wrong with the old one?
