    dolmar 133

    hello all iam looking for a chain brake for a 133 , 143 , but i will buy a complete non running saw , engine seized, parts, not working i have been searching for ages and i want to keep this saw going it is so nice to use the engine is perfect but not so good without chain brake so if anybody could help that would be perfect :thumbup: thanks andrew

    totally agree with that comment there have been a few farmers around here who do alot of hunting and shooting who have had some hefty repair bills :thumbdown: much more than there other discoveries

    my father is the same he is only 74 but he has cut alot of wood for me this last twelve months he bags all the nets and picks out all the best firewood and puts it in his shed he only uses certain tools and thats it he tells everybody the same he's gonna wear out not rust out:thumbup: when he was eighteen he subbied out to different contractors his rate for clear felling was £59 per 1/4 acre he had a solo rex 125 and a solo super rex 140 he still has the solo rex and still uses it but he sold the super rex 40yrs ago and bought a pto sawbench but he's happy thats all that matters:thumbup: KEEP ON CUTTIN:thumbup1:
  19. very true i always ring bark some tees every year that have to be removed in the winter cooler wetter months which i nearly forgot are on the way:thumbdown:

  21. hello the sycamores have started losing there leaves here to i have ring barked maybe 60 sycamore hedge trees that are up too 5'' across already and several spindley ash and they have all wilted quite well so go for it with those species cheers:thumbup:

  23. i have been using bog standard cheap as chips sae30 engine oil in the dolmars for the last 30 yrs but now iam going to change for the better:thumbup: so how about pure rapeseed oil for the smaller bars and a mix of rapeseed oil and chain oil for the bigger bar maybe mix 4ltrs rape oil and 1ltr of chain oil that would give it a good a good tack :thumbup:
