    yes happy days it certainly blows up there , before that they lived at the kennels in sampford spiney that is a pretty part of the moor:thumbup::thumbup:

    she used to live at shillipark farm which is the farm up the lane behind merrivale quarry in the middle of the moor fairly bleak she lived there about 25yrs ago we are very often down in tavvy

  7. its crazy i know somebody who bought a rare massey harris 203 tractor from usa it still landed in his farmyard incl shipping, taxes alot cheaper than if he could have purchased it in europe

  12. i cannot comment on the 2013 makita but before that the dcs5030 which was the british equivalant of the ps5105 and everything was totaly different on this saw 150% TCD will tell you the same cheers

  15. iam not sure why they done that i have spoken too many people and they have said the same as you 084 is a better chainsaw iam hoping to have some good milling with this saw
  16. yes it defiantely is a twin if you scroll down the pictures thereis two pics showing two pistons

  19. good evening i have just bought a nice stihl 084 hopefully everything will be ok, first stihl chainsaw i have ever bought in 30yrs

  22. thanks to everybody for all the posts that is interesting i didnt realise the 084 had a short production run it just goes to show how important everybodies veiws are when you are looking to buy something the husky 3120 it has been in production several years now so hopefully replacement parts arent going to be a problem ,and also another advantage withe 3120 is i can use a 3/8 bar and milling chain on the smaller softwoods
  23. yes i think it would be best to go with the big old stih, is the 084 as popular are the parts not so obtainable as i noticed they arent quite as talked about also i mentioned a 3120 that i have looked at it is approx 2007 model are they as good on the mill as the stihl
