    i have just found a 133 for parts at last just been searching for 12mths now cant wait for the parcel to arrive and see how complete it is

  5. good evening welcombe to the site, sounds like you made a good choice of saw there what does it feel like, is it a nice balanced powerful saw. Arent you happy with the dolmar bar what size are you running is it a 18'' 3/8 chain or a .325 chain most of the dolmar models have groups of saws that run the same types of bars and chains if you go on the dolmar website click on your model then drop down to cutting bars and click download and you will see other models that are the same as yours and you should be able to use one of these older models to get a match because they have been in production longer did you get it in germany or the u.s.a cheers shavey:thumbup:

    hello gtools your a star thanks mate the 117, 119, 120 153,166 had the chain brake assembly in the sprocket gaurd but the saws in the middle had the brake assembly fitted on the engine side at least i know those four saws are the same fitment thanks again shavey

  12. i agree softwood is fine its alot easier to work with and defianetely alot less work than a big old knarly oak if its seasoned right most things will burn ok:thumbup:

    that is the problem with all the bigger saws the non runners, spares or repair, parts are getting like hens teeth:thumbup:

  20. same here very quiet there are alot of cheap logs being sold at the moment around here hopefully when they run out, or they start selling wet rubbish but i suppose if you stick to your guns and sell at the price and quality you always have , then others will come and go. But it is hard to think that when when you see somebody else delivering in a house you have done even if they are awkward

    my daughter is on standby for the coastgaurd up on the north devon coast they are expecting it quite rough up along the north cornwall/ devon its right in the jaws of the atlantic swells
