  4. hello if you get two or three very nice dry ash logs drill a hole in each log with a hole cutter and save the plug drill the hole further with a smaller bit and put in the some type of black powder that goes bang and plug the hole iam told that theives like a nice dry log with a bit of extra fire power :thumbup:

  6. a thread or a advertising slot entitled ''whats going on'' where members can post a function on a calender so everybody can see what event is coming up arb show , open woodland day , local show, forestry show hedge laying competition etc my memory is getting worse and it would be nice to click on a link and see an event thats not to far however big or small :thumbup:

  9. hello i have a question on my 084 when its ticking over there is a rattle clutch side i took of the sprocket rim bearing etc and the clutch is all loose and rattley it engages ok but it is a rusty colour i suppose it could be new clutch springs needed or a new clutch thanks andrew

  11. i was just reading through arthur's posting with the link to the chinese saws and i noticed a 070 copy there for sale a question how close is it to the original is that a copy photo , and the saw is completely different if the dimensions are the same as the original saw there would be some new panels to renovate and old saw lying in somebody's shed just a thought :thumbup:

  14. but isnt this a very ignorant and rude thing to do by all bodies concerned for producing this fuel selling it to unsuspecting consumers basicly people who dont know about these stastistics who buy machines and have older precious machines that will sit there for months with this so called petrol ruining there engines then take them out and start them with stale fuel in the tanks it could be friends it could relations I WAS IGNORANT TO THIS PROBLEM SIX MONTHS AGO so somebody should take responsibility and warn the consumer about this problem when purchasing a new garden machine surely!!! or a warning on fuel pumps that this petrol will damage your engine if not used within 1 month of purchase am i barking up the wrong tree

  21. yes semi chisel is best also t-rex only likes likes to rev about 5000 rpm max and prefers nice big saw logs and if your working in the wet keep that back handle up stop it from earthing out you might get a kick my father runs his a little richer on the carb but when you bury the saw in big wood it will be happier than cutting smaller bits of wood
