  1. Hi Id get established in the UK before moving abroad Moving to France is fairly straight forward but setting up a business as well as all the other things you need to deal with could be quite a mountain to climb, Im not saying don't do it but it could be a rocky ride particularly if you need an income stream. The life in France is excellent, however finding work in a country with fairly high unemployment in some regions is going to be tough, how good is your French? Just my thoughts, Bon courage N
  2. Bonjour, Ca va? So lunch two hours from 12.00 & I trust you have an excellent selection of grand crus available in a special cooler to keep them at the correct temperature ? if so you'll be fine Bon courage N
  3. Hi Very much the done thing in France, want a pee? stop your car get out and arroser les herbs, nobody bothers, one of our neighbours who used to cut our lawns before we lived at our house full time, on departing after a few drinks, watered the front garden It must be an old favourite spot said my wife However, yes you must try and be discreet although at the same time you may be entertaining the ladies! Hi Yes, there is E95 & Ive seen E10 - anything with an E is ethanol E10 having 10% ethanol, E95 Im not sure - 5% Ethanol? I daresay the rules allow the ethanol content to be changed within a fairly broad tolerance! I use ordinary 95 octane to mix for an ancient strimmer which seems OK, but stick to Aspen/Husky Power2 for my saws. /de-rail N
  5. No probs, re-assuring to hear you use 24 with skip on a 365 special, think 28" & skip chain may be too much for a 365xt N
  6. Could do with some of your rain in France then! havn't had any proper rain for about 7 weeks now & all getting very dry N
  7. OK thanks, noted 73JGX084C for 24" bar N
  8. Thanks Stubby I may go down that route myself very handy to know, so a 73JGX092G for the 28" Rob D Sugi bar much appreciated - sorry for slight divert but is sort of relevant N
  9. Hi I would check the chain as suggested above, I think the largest Ive cut with my 365 is about 30" & seemed to cut OK but I diddnt push it. If the chain is beyond hand sharpening then FR Jones has a sharpening service ive used thats very good. I looked for so 3/8th .058 gauge semi skip but couldnt find any, but it may exist it may be possible to make a semi skip chain by removing every third cutter & raker with a grind stone, so a long bar with S skip could be a possibility N

Hi I was not happy running my saws on pump fuel mix due to problems with ethanol - usually expensive ones! so a while ago I switched to Husqvarna Power 2 which may be the pre-mixed fuel you refer to - It is blue in colour if thats any help identifying. If so, then Ive used it for nearly 3 years in my 365 & Husky hedge trimmer no problems & all the benefits. I assume Aspen is very similar stuff N
  11. Hi Anyone tried a 365 on a 28"? perhaps a semi skip chain would help overcome the bar length with 70cc. N
  12. Incidentally, If your saw has only done 3 hours its still brand new and they need a few tanks of fuel to open up & loosen up the chain so it runs easily. N

    Sugihara bars

Hi Rob, Just a note to say the bars & chains arrived today with a Sugi grease gun for the roller tip thanks, beautifully engineered & very impressed with the quality - even Mrs NFG thought it looked great. Certainly get one if I ever step up to a 390 - or maybe the 365 will pull a 24" on semi skip! many thanks again N
  14. Hi Even the French don't like Renault, awful cars unless you're lucky enough to own a 'good one' that hasn't broken down yet! N
  15. Couldnt agree more Spud, I doubt the screen is gummed up after three hours use, if its new then return to dealer to check or perhaps its a grey import? N
  16. Hi Fairly sure removing the spark screen improves oompf in any saw. & a muffler mod more so N
  17. Agreed entirely However, always considered a steel toe cap superior to composites N
  18. Thats cos they drank too much cizzer last time and are banned:biggrin: N
  19. No, but you can shut down half the servers in the AT cluster! N
  20. Hi Jon, Thats what holiday is for, turn your phone off & dont worry about the internet, it will all be OK when you get back bon vacances! N
  21. Hi Rob, Looks like it may work, don't know much about carving other than what I have watched, How about cutting a slot in the bar then having a bolt with two washers so you can slide up & down the bar? N
  22. Hi Ty, Salute & respect to those who gave everything BZs all round well done, I shall visit & pay my respect next visit to Caen N
  23. Agreed - Brunelleschi would not be happy with that... However, the H type ariel & house design does look very seventies? N
