  1. Put in a search ...there is yards and yards of it ......
  2. Here is my attempt at making a limiter for the lower AV spring on the T540 . Very simple and quick . Wonder if it will work ?
  3. Rush ?:biggrin:I see what you did there ...Moving Pictures ..?
  4. On my third ... It can pull on the impulse line restricting , tearing or pulling it right off ...
  5. I always thought the best Hybrid was a cocker spaniel that can cook ....
  6. All very personal really . e.g. Pfanner Zermatts boots are regarded by some as the best boots for spiking and others hate them ....
  7. I am on my third AV spring . I am going to put a short webbing strap between the 2 halves of the saw to limit the movement . In extreme cases , when the spring is bent to almost a right angle , it can pull the impulse line stretching , tearing or removing it .
  8. You can do it yourself to any thing you want . Did my bike years ago .
  9. EPA in the USA (Environment Protection Agency ) will most likely be more restrictive than here , possibly , definitely if it is for the California market only .
  10. If you want As then Pfanner Gladiator Ventilation . Not cheap but if you want lasting quality that would be/is my choice .
  11. Here is a good one . If you are prone to drop it on its strop then make some kind of limiter between the two halve of the saw so that you don't bend the lower AV spring to almost a right angle . Spark screen out strait away !
  12. \Got a Willans T22 that is like new coz it is hanging in garage and has done foe 10 years or more soo if it was used from now that could be 2-0 or more . My buddie has one that is 20 + years . Bit frayed here and there but keeps his arse aloft !
  13. Whats not to like . Superb trees when mature . Great fire wood . Seasons fast and splits easy ......
  14. Winter Tyres are for 7 degrees and below . They are made of a much softer compound to remain supple in low temp conditions . You will destroy them in a British summer on the road .
  15. Yea . I think they spent so much time getting the power from the motor to be good and meet emissions they skimped on the structure . As you say a great shame ...
  16. Second AV spring bent . Replacing it with a third and then going to attach a webbing limiter strap between the two halves . What can happen is the two halves get pulled apart which stretches the impulse pipe inside causing it to restrict , split or pull off .
