  1. There was some grunt on the old " thin clip " 394 saws . Had a couple in my time . Ever cut through your Spencer tape ? ?
  2. Square filling is for full chisel and makes for an even faster cutting chain than full chisel round ground . There is a knack to it . You file from the out side of the cutter rather than the inside as with all other chains . I found the best way is to buy a square ground chain and then " fit the faces of the file to it and practice like that .
  3. Twanging about a bit there Reg when they separated . Nice to hear a " well done Dave " now and then .

  6. I keep on tweaking and keep on thinking I have sorted it. Then seems to behave slightly differently again after 5 mins Could the screws be moving slightly ? Possibly due to vibs ?

  10. As above . The roots won't be able to breath with that much soil over them and the wall may have damaged them anyway .
  11. Just the area of the knot weed . Miss out the temples and everything else ?
  12. Pour a couple of bags of dishwasher salt over the area . I kills other weeds I have found . Cheaper than stem injection so worth a try .
