  4. The reason I wont be buying any more shit is because I have 4 x pairs of strides 2 X pairs of boots 6X saws 2X strimmers and lots of other associated gear and I am nearly 70 years old and everything I have will probably outlast me ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. I currently have 2 pairs of boots ( and won't be buying anymore ) . Pfanner Zermatts and Haix something or other ( red ) and neither of them has done the above .

    Is there not a throttle stop adjustment screw ?
  15. Don't know what you mean by falling ratios but a more open face is more likely keep the stick on the stump the stump when it lands , a more closed face should snap the hinge as it lands .

  18. IMHO you can't beat a new file . I have tried this ,that and the other over the years . If you want to see the angles and get the height correct an Oregon file plate that the file clips to is the way to go . Get someone who knows whats what to teach you if you are not confident . And don't forget to take down the rakers every third sharpen or so .
