  1. Its a flexible stainless liner and is sealed where it enters the spigot of the stove the passes up the original terracotta liners in the chimney (7,5 inch) and attaches to pot at the top with a standard cowl to stop the rain coming down . No infil needed.
  2. Honey Fungus ? Recently took one down that was a victim .
  3. Stubbes cops about a third of the price of woodhorn !Worth the extra mile or three
  4. Stretch air ventilation . The coolest they make .
  5. Yea Pete . In my limited experience of other peoples wood burners ( 7,5 and 10 KW ) stove I would have it was nearer 8kw rather than the stated 5kw . Well pleased .
  6. The Burley Hollywell rocks --- Official . My mate who fits wood burners for a living did me a " mates rates " installation of my Burlley wood burner today . Absolutely over the moon with it . We did it between us . 6" stainless liner went in a treat . Got it up and running now . Could not be more pleased . Superb bit of kit . 89.1% efficiency and I can believe that . Would recommend this stove to any and all . Worth looking at thier range of stoves if you are thinking about it . Happy Stubby here !

Sounds like you have not set the auto tune . In the the book it says start the saw , bring it to full revs and cut the full length of the bar As heavy as it will allow for thee to five mins . Something along those lines . Had the same problem with my 560 untill I realised you need to do this . Not all dealers are aware of this requirement . The hot start is as follows . No choke . ( I say this as some people forget that the ignition is always on and lift the red lever and flood it ) One pump of primer bulb , decomp in and pull . Always use the decomp or you will bust the starter pull . Remember ignition resets to the on position when you turn off .
  8. Yep burnt it on occasion . Very good . Does coppice well ,took one down on my front lawn leaving the stump ,as it was as high as the hose and touching the gutter . Five years later it was up there again !
  9. Sounds perfectly normal to me . What is alarming is the suggestion that you think it might possibly not be !
  10. I do have all these bits to fit on my dremmel . ( so you can plug it in ) .Used it one to reclaim a damaged chain . then finished it with a file . Helped a lot .
  11. As I said in a past post Husqvarna should supply a large chunk of hard wood with every saw so you can set up the autotune . I had to redo mine after the fitting of a new carb and hotter plug . Its fine now .
  12. I was thinking the same about " blanket felling " as there are trees that are resistant although apparently no one knows why yet . The seed definitely need harvesting from those trees I would have thought . Not seen it here in Sussex myself yet . I understand it to be air born ? If we get enough leaf off before it arrives will that spare any tree that has no wounds as it wont penetrate via the leaf ? As you can tell I am no expert just my thoughts .
  13. Got some that have been indoors in the log basket all summer reading 8% . That is the lowest reading on the Burely moisture meter that came with my stove .
  14. Don't sugar coat it Steve Give it to him strait !
