    Fake 395XP

Yep I did that once . Buyer told me to mind my own biz . and if I persisted in bothering them they would report me too
  2. Stubby

    Fake 395XP

I used to do both . Sometimes the seller is innocent and responds accordingly, amending the listing to state its a " copy" the don't go as far as to say a useless fake . ebay do nothing cos they want the money . Ho Hum

    ladders !

The only ladder I go near is the one in my wifes stockings
  4. Hayter Osprey . Fitted new aluminium cutter disk . Well not new but not bent like mine . Now the swing blades touch the grass before anything else ! Works better that way .
  5. A standard 550 is probably better than a standard 346 but not if you have a spud tuned on . I used my mates standard 346 and then swapped to mine . it made the standard one seem as though there was something wrong with it !
  6. Ignor it. so has mine never gotten any worse .
  7. Heres what I did . I gave my 346 to spud and he ported it and now it out performs a 550 . Its tached at 1440 -1600 rpm and runs a 15" bar full ch. chain and an 8 pin power mate . Ner Ner Na Ner Ner
  8. Jon I don't think the 18" bar is a problem if you got a good saw . For good read 2012 it seems . The eirlier saw had a hot start problem no matter what bar was fitted .
  9. Have they still got that problem with the europian hohse borrer beetle that was affecting all the pines ? They were felling and burning on site whgen I was there
  10. O.K. I would go for tried and tested. Reason I say this is I have had alopt of trouble with my 560 ( 550 is similar but smaller ) and non whatsoever with my 346 . See the other thread " any one having trouble with 560 " for details of probs . Not saying 550 will be the same but some guys have them and its stating to smell similar . Husqvarna have the potential with those 2 saws to clean up . They are both fantastic saws head and shoulders above the competition but not all of them run properly . If you go for a 550 be sure to get a 2012 model and not a 2011 . Good luck with everything
  11. What don't you like about WA ? I loved it when I was there but then I was only dossing about for 3 weeks !
  12. Hi Jon . Yep its a hotter plug . Supposed to aid the hot start problem , although when they fitted the revised carb that seemed to cure the hot start. Sooo I have 2 swas now . My original has new 2012 carb and hotter plug 18" bar . 2nd saw has the cooler plug ( don't know what carb ) and an 18" bar . Both saws are 2011 on the tags. Going to trial them both side by side in a big bit of ash .
  13. My Bro went to western Aus for a visit 25 years ago and he has not scaped yet
  14. In the acompanying letter that came with return of my 1st saw it said "The only physical change we carried out was to change the spark plug from a CMR6H to a CMR7H which we have been advised to fit by our clleagues in Sweden. Anyone else been told this ?
  15. Well thats the saw I thought I had bought ! !
  16. Hi Charlie . Thats good to hear bud . Have you cut the full width of the 18" bar with the 8 pin on ,in big wood for a good while ,or just nipping up and coppicing type of stuff ?
  17. Never tried a 550 . Its my 346 that is a ripper thanks to spud . I agree a 560 should run an 18" . In tha back of the book it gives up to a 20" with a .325 chain and a rediculas 28" with a 3/8 ! !
  18. Ok may be but I would have thought that a 60cc saw of that caliber should run an 18" bar no probs . It says in the husky spec an 18" is ok . I have never had a 60cc saw so far that would not run an 18". That would be 262, 362 and 357 . You may well be right . My "spud" tuned 346 runs a 15" with an 8 pin power mat rim with no protest so efectively making the 560 redundent it seems !
  19. Ok . I now have 2 ( thats two ) 560s . My original saw has returned from Sweeden . They say they could not find anything wrong . They cut wood for a tank full running on aspen ( which I have not ) using a 15" bar ( I used an 18") cutting 10 to 12 inch diameter wood ( I cut the full width of an 18" bar ) . They have not asked for the other saw back ! I could have 200 saws but if non work ? ? ? , Not had a chance to try yet . been on the grass all week .
  20. I think the problem may be that sometimes people forget that the ignition is on all the time and they lift the lever which puts the choke on. If you pull it once like that, when its hot , it will flood . Prime it once or twice maybe and just pull the cord . leave the switch alone . I could be wrong - - -
  21. As steve (spud) has said you could try the heavyer filter . I don't think the air injection has anything to do with the exhaust gases though . As I understand it it drags clean air in through the stater cover and blastes it to the filter separating the dust with the centrifugal force . There are several vids showing how better they cope against a Stihl . check em out .
  22. Hi . I know nothing of your problem but the coditions you are working in seem perfect for engine ware . I am in the u.k. but my bro lives in the bush about 45mins from Perth and it kinda sandy/ dutsy there . Just replying cos no one else had !
  23. Hi Sanny . Its on the seriel number tag . follow the top hadle down to the clutch side and its just obove the second (upper) handel mounting screw and behind the handel itself .
  24. I had one of the first 2011 560s . Mine died in the cut when worked hard and was a pig to start when warm/hot. I was told there was an updated carb . I had one fitted under warranty and it cured the hot start but not the shutting down in the cut . Sooo they sent it back and sent me a loan saw which is also 2011 saw. yet to try it but they said if its ok then to keep it . As I understand it all 2012 saws are fine . Would like to know if yours is a 2011 or a 2012 ? could you check ? Ta.
  25. Hi Steve . Hope you are well bud . The 346 you did for me is a ripper ! It is really noticable when you use it side by side with a standard one . It makes the standard one seem like it has something wrong with it ! . Still running on an 8 pin . Shoot out sounds fun . looking forward to the results !
