Mistake ruling out the Husqvarna . I have tried all sorts Stihl, Makita , Kawasaki . The 2 Huskys I have out cut em all . Double sided long reach and single sided short one . The short one sounds like a saw from a distance , it revs faster than any other hedge cutter .

Got my 372 back from Steve today . WOW !! What a missile ! Not sure what he has set max rpm to yet but a completely different animal has landed . Yet to put it in some wood but I am over the moon so far . Got 346 by Steve and 372 now . This in money well spent boys and girls . Do it , you know you want to !!

Most likely . We all know the history ,335,338 etc . Heard good things from people who had prototype saws on test a while back . Then, later ,people saying not much cop on a 14" bar , best on a 12" . ? Its got to be a winner this time around so yea .

I had to get a new one a short while back . Don't know a lot about them so asked . Ended up with a Lenovo . Very pleased so far .

This is what I have heard ...... The Honda engines are bomb proof but the drive system is too complex and when it give out its a pain . The equivalent Hayter is simpler and less of a problem . I cut grass but don't collect so non of this applies to me ( rough cut only ) . Any help ??

Its not actually padding . Its ballistic material same as in your trousers . Should you get a kick back and the saw spin back and catch your left hand the material should jam around the sprocket and stop the chain . Having said that I have never seen it happen .

Been Sunny last 2 days . Not too warm but nice . Grey over cast now , cold NEast wind . Lite stove again , processed more logs !
