  1. Hello, What SIC codes are folks using for Firewood Sales? Thanks
  2. Hello, How does the free delivery work? The website is charging me £9.95 for delivery of one 20" bar. Thanks
  3. Lots of variables but I’ve not found myself buying loads in the 4 years I’ve owned it. Well worth it IMO
  4. It’s called G1012XT Granberg Precision Grinder Careful googling grinder though
  5. It would appear to be a 50cc although someone will pipe up with cylinder head markings to confirm. I’ve got both the 50cc and the 46cc. I’d also recommend a 12v chain sharpener £94+ vat from rob at chainsawbars.co.uk had it for years and makes keeping chains sharp effortless. Arguably more important than having a good going saw.
  6. Early version was 46cc, newer version (silver sprocket cover) was 50cc.
  7. Looks to be a new top cover? Should have an XP badge. Maybe it’s the 46cc version. I was advised to run it on either green sthil 2 stroke or husqvarna xp and avoid the red stihl that’s on your bench.
  8. If it’s 50cc 18” max, best on a 15”
  9. Buy the 346xp. Assume it’s a silver side 50cc.
  10. Cut loads of firewood with a 346xp which would now be the 550xp mk11. 13” and 18” bar. I was advised years ago it would be to “pro” for the job but so glad I bought it. Recently though timber is getting bigger so I’ve now added the 572xp on 24” bar. I’d say it’s like the 346xp but bigger and you could run it on a 18” if you’d like. Possibly out of the budget though, unless you could get the vat back. Assuming you’re keeping the smaller saw, 365 sounds about right and that’ll ensure your ms181 doesn’t gather too much dust. You appreciate a powerful saw at the start of the day and a light saw at the end of the day.
  11. Top tip: Do the test in your own vehicle and box trailer (assuming you have one) expect to fail it then book it again. Total cost £230.
  12. https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/boc-volkszone-offer.79928/ Portamig is a great machine.
  13. The solution is simple, the responsibility should sit with the end user. If you have a smoky chimney expect a knock at the door.
  14. https://www.strathnairnfirewood.co.uk/about-us "We are proud to let you know that we have just obtained our HETAS WP235/15 WoodShure accreditation. " "Low Moisture Content - 25% or Less" ???
  15. This side of the draw are just making up the numbers.
  16. I did a temporary fix as I had the bits at hand. Been working fine since
  17. Spin the two bushes that each lever hits. It's designed to be changed to one handed imo.
  18. Hello, I think I've got the same problem, Would you have details of the spring that's to be replaced? Thanks F
  19. By a generator or sell it and buy a petrol one would be my advice. It looks like a pain to change.
  20. North UK, is this north uk or north England?
  21. I've run one for 10 years now. Expect 25mpg. Great for towing. You'll need front wheel bearings if they've not already been changed, (easy job) Get underneath as they are bad for chassis failing, I've welded mine and now treat it yearly with Dinatrol. I'd have another one
