as you can see there the tyre is almost bulging (not in a bad way) as the tires is wider than the rim. most off roading tires are like this on 4x4s it the opposit of what the kids are doing these days.. stretched tires are ones that are not as wide as the rim with regards to tire sizing 205 will be the width in mm the 75 is the side wall depth and the number is a percentage of the width so 75% of 205 and then there is the rim size ie 15

a firm i worked for had a 441 and i used to think it was the dogs dangalies then i got a ms440 and that saw was mental good!! the 460 is a great saw but i found that i could fell all day with the 440, and it had plenty of poke with an 18 inch bar, and found the 460 just that bit heavier. sadly the 440 died so i carried the bar over on to a MS660 and got a husky 550xp.

stihl ms440, ms 441, husky 372xp. all good saws and would hold there own with a 20 inch bar i run an 18" barn with a 9 tooth sprocket on my stihl ms 660. keeps me on my toes !!

hello. putting the feelers out as i have a few trees to come down. they are not gun barrel straight forestry trees but there should be a couple of cubes i would of thought. there is a couple of oak trees bit of willow and some thorn. anybody interested? cheers mark

hello boys and girls. my bar has had it on my husky 550xp. so what bar shal i replace it with? at present it has the original husky one. ihave had the oregon bar before but found it a bit heavier (maybe imagination). what do you use recommend? keep it smooth.. silky smooth

My beastly stihl 171!! (use it for carving) leaks when left and leaks pretty quickly. answer, drain it of oil.

what part you want to grease??? the gearbox on the hedge trimmers wants a red fluid grease the 'blades' use the stihl anti resin spray or wd40 the strimmer gear box. i use red fluid grease but my gear box makes some worrying sounds when cold. not sure if its too thick or i have an used and abused strimmer

sold my first load of the year. the good old fourtrak coming up trumps. i can just about get a cube in the back. i dont think i sold any last year, maybe some to my mother in law but that is not a profit making exercise. i dont advertise so it is just friends that i tend to sell to.

hello party people. I have a job coming up and i will have a some timber for sale. mainly ash i would say ranging from 7-15" there is also some smaller hazel and oak. access is good, stacked next to a solid track, not sure you would get an artic to it thou. it is located in aller, near langport. hoping there would be some one local that might want it or it will go to kleen kut

i drive a 51 plAte, 125bhp (standard) trany mewp. when mine go's in for service i get a 90bhp one. i can definatly notice the difference!!! we also have a 12 plate tran tipper. my mewp has loads more guts than that! remaping is the way forward unlesss its an older one than you can wazzz the pump up and crank the turbo!

as said before.. 'gone are the days of the work horse'. same with anything these days including tractors. you could chuck logs in the back of an old hilux and not worry about it. try that on a new one and you will see the dents all around the rim of the bed. but we cant keep comparing new trucks to old ones. if you want a new truck to impress customers etc then put up with the con's and enjoy the pro's. if you want a work truck than find a 2003 d4d hilux or similar. decent mpg, solid body, that can take some abuse. mark the fourtrak driver

your all barking up the wrong tree..... get one of the last fourtraks, 01 plate. super reliable, tows a trailer, can seat 7, an off roads beter than a 90! happy days.

the goretex can't breath when the garment is dirty. this results in the operators sweat building up on the inside of the jacket making it seem like the jacket is leaking. regular cleaning is the key. and the scotch guard can (so i have been told) last three washes. but i have just applied some fabsil (silicone based product) to my kayaking cag.. when i run it under water, i pull it away and there is not even a bead of water there!!! i have read on the Internet some where about painting ya coat with ronseal but i am not to convinced!!

talking about getting sap of ya gear, more specifically saws... a friend took his saw to a local place to be serviced. he payed 50 notes for what i could see was a new pull cord and a clean but by god was it clean!!! 7 year old top handle that genuinely came back looking like new and i mean new!!! wish i could find out what they used?

i think the stuff that goes in the water contains corrosion inhibitors. a Vit like the additives in antifreeze. as said before i am not sure how helpful they are.

yes that was quoted for akvaterm. did a show at the nec with the chap who designs them from finland, interesting chap. get a lot of quotes and do the research. there is a lot of information out there so it pays to know what the sales man is going on about and to avoid the wool over the eyes. plumbing them in is easy. some installations i have seen have holes drilled everywhere in the walls where pipes have been moved etc. so make sure every thing is planned out and drawn up. you can not do too much planning. a good installation looks the muts a bad one will be pants. orientation of boiler door etc

big up the nuffield contingent!!!!! an exclusive club! mine cost 900 notes, requires a little bit of work to the brakes and general tlc o and its a 6 cylinder, apparently the extra two make all the difference!!! -
