1. i used a dcs230 with sugi 1.1 10'' bar and didn't find the top handle annoying at all. very hand actually for details etc. not hard on the wrists like using a 200t for carving as your only using it gently anyway.

any news on the new dolly top handle?
3. i stuck a ms150 bar on a makita dcs230, 1.1mm gauge 1/4 chain, big difference from the standard 3/8 lp well worth getting the 1.1 i would say! and the bar mod is a piece of cake!
4. i got a cheap ms170 knock a bit off if you don't want bar and chain, add £15 for a stihl 1/4 sprocket barely used (few sharpens on 1 chain)
5. was it this
6.
yes still got old husky for sale

7. i got a makita dcs3410 34cc 12'' top handle, in GWO, brand new bar and chain, £150 plus postage gis a pm if your interested! if not hope you find something that suits!
8. what saw is it?
9. really? surely someone has something to say about them? i have now ordered some so will give you a review wheni have had a good thrash. before the piranha chain ad i bought some archer chain, snapped 2 chains on my 357 18'' .325 before i had had to sharpen them once! hope piranha is better!
10. i bought one of these for a ms170 that the carb rubbers were knackered. about a year ago and still ok. i chose this one as it is adjustable, but may require some holes drilling in plastic side to get to the adjust. ~£8 is pretty fair for a new carb i reckon
11. i heard you can get vibram soles re done?
12. any news from anyone using these chains? are they lasting ok?

shavey you know when these wee top handles are due out? or roughly what they will cost?was set on buying a 360tes but might be able to hold on a bit
14. just get your money back on it, not exceptable.
15. ms170 that oils!
16. i have the back handle version of this ,which is a cracking carving saw. still a good price for someone
17. no certainly won't do that ad any good - well aware of that! but just thought it might be a good deal for someone
18. stumbled across this very very cheap source of top handled saws - might be good for somebody starting out or after a back up? i have used one a fair bit, absolutely nothing on an ms200, more like a ms192 i would guess (never used one), but they are light and they get the job done, i would only use a 12" bar with them. plenty folk on here have slated them, so bare that in mind if your considering it - but i would say for £170 new your not going to get much better.

Ms084

the 088 piston will fit the 084 i think, but the pot is different

Ms084

i have one, it is great, not as many parts available for them as a 088, but i think you can still get most of the essential bits your likely to wear out. they have a manual oiler push button too
21. mine is an idiot too. i have to push down really hard as i turn to get it to twist the full way to allow it to seal proper. also when you undo it its hard to pull off. i know someone will say its just a i.q test, which will wind me up!
