  1. Im replacing 4 vertex vents that are around the 5 year mark. No breakages, no cracks and great lids.
  2. I have 5 66's and a couple of 395's and had a 394. My choice would be the 66, more reliable overall and a lot less temperamental. The 5 66's have done more work and cost me less to run than the 395's.
  3. Time flys
  4. A stihl version of the echo 260t by the looks of things, they must be getting bored.
  5. Them soviet drivers are always Russian around.....
  6. You got off light to! Makes the Southern states look cultured in many parts of Aus.
  7. Irish and French have been caught on camera gouging McCaw in the last year amongst other actions. Its a blight on the game.
  8. Is football played by the english seriously? Has anyone told your world cup players in the last near half century? They might need a reminder. 7's is an olympic sport next time around. McCaw never complains, look how many times hes been eye gouged and seriously targeted and he just gets on with it, and he gives credit where credits due. Great game england, long may you reign! (or until next time)
  9. You shoudl have called him, and told him to call you when he gets there and that you would get the in no time. Then give him the "Im 15 minutes away bit" for as long as you manage. Payback
  10. Its a husky, sticking a top handle on one has the same effect as sticking an italian in a army uniform. Seems great until the noise starts and it meets any competition Lets hope the echo 355t gets to our shores before I run out of ms200t's, im not holding my breath that they 540 will be good enough to hold the husky name
  11. You guys dont get the kia trucks? Ignore the 1000kgs they state, its actually 1500 they carry on there backs and still stay 250kgs under 3500kgs. K2500 Specs
  12. No the job was cleaning up what was on the ground, they were all hiding up there
  13. Some of his stuff does show up on discovery channel I think.
  14. Mainly oddballs though
  15. Still better than the ms201T:001_tongue:
  16. Hundreds of litres of sugared water might help. Its worked in other places with poisonings. Dilutes the poison some while giving the tree extra glucose. Make a hole every 800mm around the tree to the drip line. Mix 20-30gms sugar in 1-litre of water & pour into your holes over an area of 2 square metres. Repeat the sugar mix for every 2 square metres around the tree & at least to the drip line (the outer leaves of the canopy), though it wouldn’t hurt to got further. Repeat once a month. You should notice new foliage starting to grow. Keep the treatment up until your tree is healthy once again. Let em know you know a compulsive firebug that loves trees
  17. We get tea or coffee and biscuits if the clients around, and a meal every couple weeks I guess. Normally offered but a subtle "we couldnt beg a cup of coffee could we?" works every single time (never been turned down) People just dont think of it sometimes I think
  18. Does a long silence mean yes or no?
  19. Rain means blunt chippers, crappy clean up, trashed lawns, and generally unappreciative clients. I have gear to fix or maintain, paperwork to catch up on, kids to spend time with and projects to work on if its going to be an utter crap day.
  20. Thanks for that, is the HB31S Stihl Vent Headset available in red rather than orange?
  21. I was wondering how much it would cost in shipping to send 2 or 3 pairs of A class gladiator pants to Wellington NZ Thanks!
  22. No kidding! Buy the right gear, dont rely on a single brand to hold your hand like some trusted lifelong guide. They dont care about you, just your money. Stihl makes great gear and not great gear Husky, Echo, Dolmar the same. Theres enough info on the net to give you a pretty good idea what bit of gear is great and which isnt. Use it and shop wisely
  23. For years I ran bg55 and 85's. Great blowers, very reliable, bit of switch trouble but otherwise all good. Then I brought a big backpack blower, it was expensive and its bulky but it saves me hours of work every week. (hours plural) Not only great for cleaning up but makes digging up stumps or prepping them for stumpgrinding a snap. Going back to a handheld from a good backpack is nearly like going from a handheld to a broom. Well worth the money.
  24. Get something better, honestly the 6x6 vermeer 625 is like bringing Kate Moss to a pie eating contest. Get another 6 inch but go for something with a wider throat. The extra money you will spend will be paid back real fast in the labour and fuel savings as the process more quicker. I did the math for one of my crew and going from a 6x6 to a 6x12 saved at least 8k in 12 months in fuel and time.
  25. I have TREESR
