  1. Beautiful car, you gonna get a system on it, so we can hear the v8? Eissemann are well worth looking up on youtube, such a pleasant noise! Health to drive, hope the traction will be firmly switched off!
  2. If it's the flywheel speed sensor you mean, you can adjust it closer to the flywheel itself. Mine was being lazy in starting the rollers in the morning, I adjusted the air gap and it sorted it. Hope that helps. Have fun with the coni bashing!
  3. Mark, did your dealer not give you detailed instructions when undertaking the stihl hand-over policy?!!
  4. Did you have any luck finding a donor Difflock? See there is a couple at Wilsons Auctions in Dublin. No idea what they will go for. Would be a longish drive for disappointment!
  5. You can buy a reasonable hi-tip dumper much much cheaper than a tired avant too. Seriously tempted to stick my head in at a few auctions to see what is available. I'd agree that version of a design looks excellent, wonder what it can lift.
  6. I like that. What forum was it on, anymore info on what he has done, or is it a kit he is selling?
  7. I didn't know anyone made chippers other than schliesing...
  8. Another vote for merino wool. Any of the strectchy type stink after a couple of hours. Merino will go three or four days without the need to wash. I got my last one in tk maxx for 25 quid, has a half zip too. Proper job! Would tell you what make it is, but I'm wearing it as we speak!
  9. That's beautiful. Lovely work. The grain in the oak is really working there.
  10. Great job, I enjoyed that. Not sure how that doll missed your truck all the same. Oops!
  11. I'm too slow! Fair play Gary!
  12. I'm not two stroke expert, but the answer may be in your question. Cold air is more dense than warm. Being auto tune it may be adding extra fuel to compensate and your getting more power. Certainly works on turbo'd cars!
  13. We like to call them 'budgie'. My current groundy is hopeless at spotting falling branches so no chance he will spot any talent!
  14. Not me, but know a few folk who know these nutters. Some bad language, beware.
  15. Took mine off my 560 as soon as I got it. As far as I know it is to stop hot carbon or sparks starting a fire if you are somewhere very dry. If it were me I'd take it out, and set it somewhere incase you ever have a warranty issue. Might lead to slightly improved exhaust flow.
  16. Oh you should send your driver into the off licence, how rude. As for raincoats, being in Ireland where it mostly rains, I have come to the conclusion that nothing will really keep you dry and if it does you sweat to death. Plus when you descend the prussik milks the nice brown water straight up your arm. I have two cheap coats and a couple of spare t-shirts and jumper, nice wee space under the drivers seat of the transvestite for them.
  17. I thought you would be sitting in the range rover smoking cigars Mark? Did you have to get out to whip the peasants?
  18. To be fair Deano this aint that mad. My lady friends dad has a similar set up mounted on a trailer chasis. He originally made it to put a haylege bale wrapper on, meaning it would free up a tractor. He then modified it to put his own brand log splitter on. Good luck with it. I'd rip out everything an start again with a super simple wiring loom. Probably!
  19. Welcome. I like it too, it looks like a hare having a wee sit up on it's hind legs to me. Coming on thirteen years since I first used chainsaws and not sure I could do that. Keep posting!
  20. The donutting ban is an FIA thing across the board to be fair. Been fining rally drivers for years for it. It's so they don't promote hooligan (fun) driving. I'm surprised with the amount of traction and slip angle control it even went round anyhow. Hahaha
  21. I agree whole heartedly Samuel, serious achievement for the team. But I wonder how much is it Vettel and how much Newey? As for the reliabilty of Webbers car...he must be fit to burst! Just a parade of technology imo. Wish I had sky tv and I'd be heavily into the aussie v8's. Man racing!
  22. See that's on an Northern Ireland reg, very few about here, one I can think of locally in tree surgery spec.
  23. I'm out. F1 is pure dung. Wish Webber could have any chance of winning but I'm not wasting anymore time listening to Coultard telling us the different ways he wants to bum Vettel!
  24. Your new avatar rocks! I think I like dogs more than humans...
  25. Get that last picture in the 'rate my hinge' thread. Looking good!
