I've done it before with poles with a rotten center. Just get rid of the rotten bit. That's the bit the creosote didn't penetrate. My posts are in service still on the chicken fence. Outlasted 2 modern 4x4 posts -

The mould won't disappear not will stop growing if the logs are dry. There will always be a mould stain unless you clean it off.

Hi can Anyone near me supply me decent local charcoal. Don't need it packaged. Would prefer loose. For personal use at home and catering. Use about 40 or 50kg a year. My old supplier had packed up. Cheers James

Not sure on sizes but I have general grabber at2, and having at3 fitted next week. £110 each fitted and I've always been happy with them.

No excuses. I care very little about football or my country, but if someone commits a foul like that they should be sent off. Half the reason i dont watch much football is the diving and deliberate fouling. Unless the refs start punishing shit like that it will continue to happen. A yellow card in the final means very little.

No. He clipped his heel before 24 put his leg in front. Was a marginal penalty. Could of gone either way. We have had plenty of those go against us in the past though.

Everyone has to be outside the box when the ball is kicked except goalie and penalty taker. Penalty taker will always be closer.. Casper should of caught it or pushed it away. He tried to catch it but failed. In this sense it wasn't a good save.

You must sell to a different market to me as most of what I sell, brown wouldn't be suitable. Just worked out im about 4 or £5 a board ft for oak. Not that I've ever worked out board ft before. Silly measurement for structural timber.

Went to see a eucalyptus dalrympleana today. Really nice old guy who planted the tree in the 70s from seed. He is concerned now about the size of it and the proximity to his house. He wants it removed but doesn't want it going to firewood. I have no experience of it at all. I understand its durable. Few questions. Would it be a good timber for fencing or garden furniture? How thick is the bark likely to be. Any opinions on previous experience Milling it. The guys Garden is like an arboretum. He a nice chap and would like to help him out. Pic of the 3 eucs to go. Big one is about 850mm dbh

Bunsen burner more recently. Saw them in a small rock club in the 90s. They were awesome. Otway is a nutter.

I would say that one isn't gun stock quality. Very nice though. Careful of the chopping boards and serving platters with nut allergies. Not so much of a problem as gifts and not for sale. Make sure recipetents are aware that it can be an issue though.

True enough. I have no softwood trees to mill though and haven't found any to get delivered immidiately.I have how ever sorted this this afternoon. So thanks to all who pm'd me or replied. Cheers James

Hi. I need some reasonably well seasoned timber for a job that I don't have cut. I need to end up with par 14 to18mm boards between 90 and 110mm Ish wide. I will need 60 at 1800mmlong Happy to take 8x2 etc and re saw. My prefrence would be 4x2 or 8x2. Happy to take mixture of sizes to make up quantity or a bit less as I do have some and the Quanyity above is for the whole job. Needs to be a durable softwood such as cedar, larch Douglas etc. Any body want to give me a price for supply. Happy to collect or delivery depending on Location. Delivery would be to near Milton Keynes MK18 3LZ
