  3. Maybe time for a chrismas jumper?
  4. Both are ok, you can find advantages to either depending on what you consider important. It's possible to put the e-mini 1/4" Stihl bar onto the 536 (you'll need a drill) and then you have a really usable saw.
  5. That is as maybe but I'm trying to spare a day out for the stump grinder..... They are going to be there a while and are looking for long term options. An attempt at establishing a smaller canopy is my aim at the moment. Just wondering if anyone has tried and what results they had.
  6. Can you pollard an acer palmatum and rest assured that you will get reasonable regrowth? A client has is recently moved in and inherited an example which is around 6metres high and overwhelming their property, options are reduce massively or remove. Opinions and experience sought, thanks.
  7. Thank you, it'll save a massive round trip.
  8. Still hoping, also somewhere around Botley, Southampton too?
  9. Hi all, I have a client with interests in Aylesbury, which is well off my turf. Can anybody help with a tip site for 1 or 2 loads of chips (probably just 1 load). Thanks Adam

Is there that much going on? Guess so. If you're a climber and would like a change of scene for even only a couple of days a week I'd be interested. Good money/effort balance for the right person. (08:00 starts ....)

  15. Don't know about the Zero yet but the Camp Access is not so bad. You do have to adjust the straps to shift balance otherwise yeah, you tip back. Once you tweak it right it's pretty good, a few guys of different builds tried it too. The CE mark is as mentioned an exactly proportioned 'logo' that can be checked, details are on the net. Fakes rarely match up correctly. The camp harness is also featured in the ArbClimbr mag.
  16. Working in Chertsey and will have a load of chips and a load of logs. It's eucalyptus if that makes it more appealing. Please PM or txt/email if you can help, thanks. 07968770361 [email protected]
  17. We carry a TU16 and a snatch block, combined as a 2:1 when necessary it covers most jobs with ease. Alot lighter than the T35 so less of an issue to get to work.
  18. What about the app into which I type the clients' address and it gets the job done for me....
  19. Try AHC, Hook Mill Lane, Lightwater. Haven't been there for a while so no guarantee of success.
  20. Travel, Walking items in Mountain Warehouse store on eBay! Have a look at the base layer stuff. Cheap and good I think.
  21. looking for a climber/grounds person to join us. We are a small outfit who take on a wide variety of arb jobs and work to high standards. If you are interested and want more info then either give us a call on 07968770361 or email to [email protected] Thanks for looking.
  22. Without meaning any for of stereotyping..... Right now there are approximately 15 caravans and all associated, parked up at a supermarket car park in Badshotlea, Farnham. Have you checked your security if you're in this area?
  23. Thanks all, already condemned on the grounds of physical damage, soil level change and no real prospects of a long life.... I didn't know if there was more to it that I'd be able to feed back to the client (who I don't think has told the full story). I was considering the black stuff oozing out as something possibly significant(?), I looked for but could find no 'bootlaces' but I did not do any digging. Although I didn't take any pictures of the crown, it is still in good condition at this time.
