  1. So you explain to them how to break it even further and then if it still doesn't work then bring it in and I will fix it for you:001_rolleyes: That's how you get your 9 times out of 10 sale Truth of the matter is there are plenty time wasters out there and are only interested in getting the work done for mates rates. It's frustrating but a fact of life unfortunately.
  2. Haha you big girl! But it is a good idea, albeit an extra addition to your harness that you or me anyway try to keep as light and minimalistic as possible.
  3. Well that was a lucky escape by me haha hope you are all enjoying the rain:001_rolleyes: There is still Friday on offer but it looks like rain then also:thumbdown:
  4. Still no link there mate! Careful what you buy in fleabay is all I will say
  5. Ok so it seems you can afford to miss out on it then:001_rolleyes: So now all I need is a destination for me and my bike... Any edinburgh arbs got any addresses where they are working and I can come round and say hi??
  6. Just spotted this thread as well... Hope your doing better now and some more tasty nurses have moved into see you. Keep strong and all the best for your bun in the oven
  7. Yea martyn has been looking for people this last week or 2 but not sure if he got everyone he needed already or not. Good luck anyway
  8. It is a great effect. I like the way it makes things look like models, although I am sure that wild west scene there was already a model. There is another thread on here somewhere with tilt shift photos in it. I think it was robarb that started it.
  9. Hit a wee nerve there mark? I know how you feel mate these people get on my nerves as well but I just end up laughing it off.
  10. Some of that is completely hilarious the tears were streaming.
  11. Maybe when the next customer asks how much will it be, then you should reply with "how much do you want to spend on it" just to see if it's worth getting out of bed for.
  12. As title.... Seems I have tomorrow and Friday unbooked:001_huh: Didn't see that coming, so decided to sell myself cheap to anyone that needs me in or around Edinburgh and the lothians. (can be further but without the offer) One time offer you can't afford to miss out on, so call me now on 07976460509 Either that or I am off out for a run around with the bike for 2 days:thumbup1:
  13. Not sure Ben, I am relatively new to the SJ as well and have not needed to replace any parts as yet. I think it really depends how much you use it and how hard you use it as well. Some people tend to get up to 6 months use before wearing the cam and some a year and more. I am just around the 6 months mark now and it's fine but I don't use it every day and I tend to be gentle with it too.

    Jonesie

Now that's a real cake!!! Happy birthday jonesie... Any freebies going?
  15. I have a set of kleins as well and I use the long gaffs. I prefer the long ones, especially when climbing an ivy covered horror they come into their own. They are a nightmare to walk in but you don't need them when on the ground. Once you get used to long gaffs there is no going back IMO
  16. Here is a real orange tool for you... Dale Winton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  17. Your mad! You had a 2 minute shot of my 460. No way you can say that blue bucket you have is better
  18. If your SJ is creeping then maybe it's an issue with the cam and not the new bits... Give it a check and see if it's worn.
  19. What an unfortunate name! I thought it was a joke till I read the next post with link haha I never tried to make a bow but I know a man who has and also has failed a few times getting the right piece of wood. It's not as easy as it seems.
  20. I would stear clear of second hand gear because you don't know what has happened to it.
  21. I cut one down a while ago and I am sure you could have taken the lot of it if you had wanted... All gone now and probably chopped up and drying out for next years firewood. I am sure someone will be able to help.
  22. Oh yea and if you do the islay bit then don't forget to drink some whiskey. The best whiskey in the world comes from islay IMO
