  1. Been grounding last couple of days and i am just making it worse. I try to only use the one arm but you know how impossible that is to do 100% Sending off the self referral form today but there is a 2 month waiting list it seems:thumbdown: No i dont have accident insurance and it wasnt even an accident that did it. It is a problem that has been bothering me for about 5 months now but the other day while slipping and sliding up and down a steep banking it just got unbearable and still is just now. I should really get my body insured as much as possible but i am trying to keep my expenses to the minimum and hate giving money away for no return (suppose that was stupid on my part:blushing:)
  2. Well i am sitting at home nursing some ligament damage to my right arm. Problem is i need about a month at least to heal it properly! How can i do this? i dont think any one of us can afford to take a month off but on the other hand i cant afford to be injured.... That is my problem and i dont have an answer. Anyone have any suggestions? (serious ones please) I hate to be cooped up doing nothing but the pain in my arm is stopping me even from brushing my teeth without letting out a girly squeal followed by some manly swearing every now and then.
  3. Before and after on some birch reductions...
  4. Think i have resolved my PC issues at last:blushing: I like the way in NZ a tree is not just a tree but a whole load of very visible stuff growing together:thumbup:
  5. A month! what you using, sandpaper ropes? I have had mine more or less 7 months and no problems with it at all. Granted i dont use it every day but i guess its done way more than a months working time. maybe you shouldnt try to be like in the video and going down as fast as you dare, you might even save yourself money!
  6. Nice video, just goes to show how strong a splice is instead of a knot. I still need to get my finger out and get splicing...
  7. yep its all good, just not retrievable. Heres a thing though.... why dont you just get a cambium saver?
  8. i snorted a lump of snot on my screen because of this! anyone willing to pay me to come and clean it off is truly welcome
  9. veggie oil works, bit thin and doesnt stay on the chain well but still does the job. Pretty much any oil will do but i normally get the 25liter oregon barrel cos i have always used it. Think i will change to clarks bio stuff though next time. Jonsie or clarks are cheapest i think
  10. The wraptor has been on a few times i think. Next time look for the wraptor girls thats worth a watch.
  11. Great stuff mate, seems your the only one with the bottle to show your bits!
  12. I dont know if you have a TM but it says on the instructions that the red rope parts are not to be used for the chainsaw and only the red ring at the very back should be used. Personally i like the fact that these parts are weak and come apart so easily, it always worries me getting something caught up in a falling branch or something heavy and being pulled out the tree. I think the TM is the best harness i have ever used and will buy another when needed. Just my personal oppinion:thumbup1:
  13. Silky all the way! I had a samurai once and although it cut well (probably as good as silky) the metal was weaker and bent a lot. Also it made some real horrible noises that would make your skin crawl. Sugoi for me
  14. I dont agree with taking your medicine if you didnt do anything wrong. If you have to go back for extra work then you charge accordingly. People are always out to get something for free and if you give it to them then you just lost! I can understand you wanting to keep them sweet but all you need to do is do the extra work at a minimal profit. Whats not on spec is extra and extras get payed for unless they are very small and only involve 10 minutes or so. Anyone wanting something for nothing should be welcomed into the real world slowly so as not to explode their tiny brains.
  15. Has this got something to do with sink holes? You know like the water twists down the hole in the other direction in the southern hemisphere...
  16. Ian that looks a bit roadside heavy! Fell it and plant a cherry:001_rolleyes:
  17. Wow they are badass looking spines! I thought the spines on a Phoenix were bad but those look extra nasty.
  18. yep i agree with all above. The instructor needs his wallet lightened for the price of your kit that HE broke.
  19. They are crackers and no doubt nice and tasty unfortunately i still have a twist listen and hope for the best situation that seems will be getting done by me as per usual:sneaky2: Now i am off to buy some spuds to fight the smoke craving
  20. Just to add my 2 pence worth... I am needing to tune my saw and thought about taking it to a dealer just to get it done properly instead of doing my usual listen and twist and hope for the best method. The thing is i dont trust any of them as i have heard no good comments about any of them. Spud is always on here giving good advice and not touting for business from anyone as far as i can see but the thing is that if i wanted my saw fixed then at the moment he is the only person i would trust with it. Any dealings i have ever had with saw dealers have never been good so maybe its about time the dealers did something about it and started being more helpful and professional in what they do. I am not saying all are bad but i cant find a good one yet.... please help me out, i dont know who are the dodgey ones and who are the good professional ones.... must be like trying to get a tree surgeon to sort your trees i suppose:001_rolleyes:
  21. mwaaahahahaaaah!! busted big time. Thats quality haha
  22. Takes enough talent that a person (like myself) that cant make plasticine models, that look half descent anyway, couldnt do that.... Cracking looking cake Miranda and i am sooo glad your a girl haha i was just about to dish out a very severe second hand slagging
