  1. I only have this little offering to make but its better than nowt i suppose, there wasnt much damage except to another tree if fell on top of and it just missed a sky dish that you cant see on the other side.

  4. and here was me thinking i was one of a kind:001_rolleyes: oh well i will just have to accept the fact there may be people like me out there
  5. Just want to point out that i did say "dont be fooled by it" and it was rehearsed for sure. I also want to say that you can see the guy can climb well and has good skills. But Steve there is no way someone can be that precise with every move on a first shot except maybe me I wouldnt have gone as far as calling him a poncey show off though
  6. Some various bugs and beasts found in my garden (haha:blushing:) in Rome.
  7. Just in case you were interested David here is Keats's final resting place in Rome
  8. No need, a few clicks and a diminished bank balance later the stuff arrives at the door without having to sit in the car for 4 hours:thumbup1:
  9. Just had a look on your website and the prices are looking good, i may change supplier Your still miles away though:001_rolleyes:
  10. Not that far? are you kidding? thats about 2 hours away! that distance just to try on a harness or 2 seems a bit extreme. Although if i am ever passing i may pop in for a look. I will PM my address for a catalogue anyway and may get you to send me some goodies next time i need if your prices are good.
  11. there may be but i dont know it, i am not long here in Edinburgh so dont know many local traders. I just get my stuff online to save the hastle.
  12. SGM Contracts LLP SGM House Belleknowes Industrial Estate, Inverkeithing Fife, Scotland KY11 1HZ Bit pricey but you can go and try on the harnesses at least and they may give you a better price if you tell them you found it cheaper on the net.
  13. I had 2 buzzards drying their wings while sitting on a half dead ash yesterday, it was a cracking sight and when i got my camera they were still there so i was extra happy till i realised the batteries were dead! that would have been my best photo ever aarrrggghh! bloomin batteries.
  14. too much exhaust fumes! and stop drinking your 2 stroke thinking its apple and blackcurrant robinsons.
  15. Glad to hear it
  16. David thats a cracking shot with the tree lying across the 2 cars
  17. mike you just went all rouge trader on us, next it will have honey fungus and all the trees in the neighbourhood will have to come down.
  18. now were rockin
  19. Looks like a £100 to £150 job going by the photos. Anyone doing it for less is only ripping themselves off and making our job even more difficult to make any money on. Overheads are silly nowadays and hiring a highly trained professional costs money anyway. You try getting a job done by a plumber or plasterer or electrician etc and see how much they charge, and thats without risking their lives every day. Some of them wont even come to your house without charging £50 call out first. Bob you need to give your pricing a boot in the backside.
  20. first time i have ever seen anyone using a saw wearing a waistcoat and chinos
  21. waaaaahahahahaaaaah:lol::lol:
  22. Here is another you might like... Encyclopedia of Life
  23. is this actually serious? he wants someone to destroy their own saw trying to cut through steel?
  24. Visibility is important yes. sorry i was just having a bit of a crack with you all
