  1. Start with power supply, fuse, relay or lose connection. Check earthing points as well. My mate had some dents put right on his old L200 and when it came back was drive back by garage bod I was there when it turned up and as soon as turned in to his yard you could hear tyres scrub, he got in it and was in 4 wheel drive ask bod why it had been in 4 wheel drive and he had no idea why.
  2. Lack of use is most of the problem with transmission get stuck in or out.
  3. Replaced the roller cutters and springs on my TW 150 a couple of years ago and made it a lot better at pulling things in. If you jensen is OK otherwise spend a bit of money on it.

Some thing similar went on a couple of months back my brother received a letter through the post about having a test you do yourself then a courier picks it up, the postmen said he only delivered 3 envelope like it in the whole village, so must be worked on percentages.   7. Schools are putting pupils in bubbles and teaching them and play grounds are divided up for years or bubbles, or if not bubbles spaced out 2m apart. So i was amazed today working near a secondary school at kick out time buses turned up and then left jammed full with all ages of pupils, so all the work done by school all day went pop.

  9. If pto chipper should be easy to power with lorry. Depends on how much hp you need but timber yard near me used old David brown and other small tractors to drive bits of machinery they had no tin work or wheels and mounted in frames so they could move them about with forklift.
  10. Would not have thought you can pumb it up and run both, but a simple diverter valve after pump to send flow to splitter or as it should.
  11. If you want to lift big timber forklift is the way to go, even some of the small ones will out lift the average loader tractor
  12. I bought a Riko 25t splitter about 4 years ago what made me choose it over others was the weight of it, was heaver then others on the market so bigger steel used. With large lumps load it with crane on trailer.
  13. When I first saw it with husk on didn't look like walnut as so big.
  14. Fork lift is the only thing going to lift that weight.

    Found some walnuts in garden working in today they were from neighbours tree they are massive, Photo is 1 next to large egg, anyone else seen ones this size.
  16. Here's how I fixed it

Got a ifor 8x5 tipper I use for wood chip on large jobs and log delivery's with mesh sides which I lined with alloy sheeting think it 2mm got fabrication company to cut it to size and bend a lip on the top edge, made flat squares to fix it to mesh and riveted along top edge. Been on trailer for must be 8_9 years know. Will post some pictures later. You could use 3mm stokboard.
  18. I agree with what you say but, every AD plant is have maize carted in by tractors ran on red and running 12_14 hours a day which is not agricultural.
  19. Big leaners need big kit and take time and effort to put in the right place. 30t Jack is not light.
  20. if you have pulled rope for years with tirfor and not snapped rope it machine operator that is the problem not understanding what tension to put on rope.
  21. What has engine come off may depend how it is set, I bought 1 that had been on cable winch had been converted to electric fuel shut off which was knackered had to make new leaver to bolt on to thread sticking out off governer box. Which model is yours.
  22. Large Beech reduce in the last couple of days, did it 7 years ago because of decay in base and will probably be felled in 2-3 years time. Its a centre piece to the front drive and will be a shame when it has to come down.

    Is it just me or is there a lot of them about, been working on a large Beech tree reduction and have been bitten many times little sods were more active this morning after a good downpour first thing this morning.
